A welcoming atmosphere. Staff are friendly, caring and compassionate. They try very hard to offer individual care. Staff respond quickly and efficiently to any needs or requests and keep us updated on all aspects of care. The home welcomes and works in partnership with the wider community health care team so many nursing needs are accomodated.

The floor staff/supporting staff all appear to work considerably hard and show a lot of kindness to the residents. Special thanks to cleaning staff who ensure that the premesis are clean and tidy particularly the lounges and individual living rooms (bedroom). Activities are well ran and well participated which is helpful to the residents. The management staff are pleasant and helpful during visits. Overall the care home ensures my mother is well looked after and treated with care and dignity; I am satisfied that her interests are catered for.

It's been over a year now for mother. I like the friendliness of the staff, really nice. Mother has started to integrate, after some hiccups. But overall, a really good experience. It helps that I'm confident in her care and carers. Thank you all.

My Mam was in Green Lodge for just over two years and the care she received was fantastic. All the staff treated my Mam with care, dignity and compassion throughout her time there. I was also treated like family every time I visited my Mam. My Mam recently passed away but I would recommend this care home to everyone. There was always something organised for the residents to keep them entertained and engaged. Wonderful staff and a wonderful care home.
I would like to say thank you so much for your lovely review, the words and taking your time to provide feedback are very much appreciated, I will share it with the staff team at Green Lodge, thank you for such a lovely review, your mum was an absolute pleasure to take care.
It was my mother-in-law's 99th birthday and all the staff were so lovely they made her feel so special. One of the staff organised for some children from a local nursery to come and sing Happy Birthday. All the staff came out and it was such a magical moment that my mother-in-law and the family won't forget.

All the staff at Green Lodge Care Home in my opinion are wonderful people and nothing is any trouble at all, they help my wife and others at all times. They are in my mind very special people always friendly with a smile. And they all do a wonderful job with all the residents.

The activities are often and help the residents to have a better quality of life. Too many to list but live chicks to hold, live music, exercise classes, knitting, painting - the garden in nice weather, ice cream, panto, Salvation Army for Christmas carols. They have a lot of medical care which is hard for us to access at home but is standard and linked to the care home. I can’t ever thank them enough for the care my Mam has received.
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave this lovely review, our aim is to provide a high standard of care and support to all our people and their families, I will pass on your kind words to the team.
The facility is in an excellent location and has a superb ambience. All staff are very professional in their approach to care and always willing to have a chat if you need some help.
Looking after your loved one is our pleasure. We are pleased that you are happy with our care community.
My dad went to Green Lodge from hospital after having a fall at home. He has been a resident there since late October. He has settled in extremely well and has built lovely relationships with all of the staff, who treat each resident like a member of their own family. Having previously worked in care myself, I can, hand on heart say, I could not ask for a better place for my dad. The staff are all friendly and approachable, take the time to listen to residents and visitors and have been fantastic when I needed advice or reassurance.
Kind regards.
My father has settled in well. He has dementia and keeps the staff on their toes. He enjoys the food and says the staff are lovely. We visit regularly and he appears to be happy and well looked after by the staff that care for him. I am very pleased with our choice of care home, it's convenient for visits and appears to be well run.
Many thanks for taking the time to leave such lovely feedback, I will certainly pass your lovely comments on to the staff. As a team, we all strive to provide the best care possible for our residents.

My mother has been extremely happy in Green Lodge. She has commented about how attentive and friendly the staff are. She has also frequently commented about the excellent quality of the meals. If I have had any queries, the staff have responded quickly and to my satisfaction. After a short time in Green Lodge, we have noticed that our mother is the best we have seen her in a long time in terms of being more lively and alert. As a family, we are all delighted by how happy she has been.

Meet the Team (1)

Hi, I'm Kelly, and I've worked in the care sector since I was 15 years old - I went from making tea and spending time with residents to becoming a Carer, Senior Carer, Team Leader, Deputy Manager and finally Home Manager.
Over the years, I have supported people with a range of care needs, but I have particularly focused on dementia care and developed a real passion for it. Not only do I bring experience, but I bring compassion and leadership, advocating for high-quality person-centred care.
