I have been visiting my friend since he moved into Green Lodge and I have been impressed with the cleanliness of the home. There is no smell of soiled bedding or furniture, (which I have experienced in other places I visit). I like the idea of daily activities, even though my friend does not participate. My friend has vascular dementia and is very confused a lot of the time. However, he is treated with respect and has never, to my knowledge, been forced to do anything he does not wish to. This includes help with washing and shaving, medication and freedom to go out to his club, where he enjoys a pint and chat. The staff are friendly, supportive and communicative.
