My Mam had dementia and was treated with dignity and care. She never lost her smile or mischievous way. Mam loved the staff.
When Mam was on end-of-life. The manager, deputy and staff were there till the end with my sister and myself. The compassion and Empathy shown were immense. Never in my time working in care have I ever seen the management team be with you with every last breath my mam took. And even the staff standing for mam's final departure from the home.
Always trying to encourage Mam in activities. Which she loved to do. Days out. Singers, dancing, children's choir. The activities team is always busy entertaining.
Home always clean and tidy.
Choice of food and everyone catered for.
Thank you again for the love and care shown.

Instantly felt at ease from the moment we entered. And on visiting my Dad regularly we saw him build up such a rapport with the staff members, which says a lot about the treatment he was receiving. My Dad's needs were constantly changing, yet the staff went above and beyond to facilitate them. We as a family were always made welcome too. My Dad's illness meant he deteriorated very rapidly, but again the staff couldn't do enough for him. I know Care Homes have received bad press but my experience of my Dad's stay here, has expelled all of that. I honestly can't thank everyone enough who showed him nothing but kindness and made sure he was comfortable and safe. I'm hoping there's a waiting list as I'd put my name down for it.

From the day my mum entered Hadrian Park, we as a family have felt happy and our mum is happy and cared for by all the staff who go above and beyond their duty.

All the carers are very caring and very patient. They take time to talk about our problems or concerns and the senior carers are excellent.

Mother is treated with kindness from staff. They are very friendly and helpful. Food is very good and plenty of snacks etc during the day. The room is clean. Mother's cleanliness is fine. She is bathed regularly.

Mam has been a resident for two years. The staff have always been very supportive of Mam and family members. They understand Mam's moods and how to help her through them. Offering her calming and reassuring words. All staff and management are approachable and available at all times.
My overall view is that the staff are very friendly, dedicated and committed to providing a happy and safe environment for the residents. I visit the home most days and I get the same warm welcome each time. I get offered a coffee when the trolley passes too.
Staff are brilliant and kept up to date on very friendly and polite./
Very good on activities - always something on eg exercise time, dog visits, crafts Trips out - arc, theatre, pub etc. One to one time with residents.
I have always found all the staff at Hadrian Park without exception to be approachable and friendly. Whenever I have made an enquiry or sought any kind of clarification they have been most helpful. The staff can either make or break a place like this and they make it with their genuine caring attitude.

The care home itself is always clean and tidy. He is well fed and looked after. There are always activities going on
I spend a lot of my free time there with Dad and some of the other residents and am always made to feel welcome.
If I have had any problems they are listened to and quickly and efficiently resolved.
I could not have found a better place to home my dad.

I have always found all staff to be helpful when arranging a visit or to clients during lockdown when getting shopping and generally keeping everyone up to date.
Hadrian Park is hopefully coming to the end of another Lockdown due to Covid-19. As an essential caregiver, I have experienced first-hand how hard the carers worked during a particularly bad time of Covid-19. With as many residents confined to their rooms as possible, the carers carried out all duties efficiently, remaining calm and cheerful. They were non stop! An absolute asset to Hadrian Park and Care UK. I was also very impressed that Care UK sent regular letters to keep us updated on the rules and regulations from the Government as well as regular updates from the manager of the home.
I feel my mother is well cared for, however, services seem to take too long. Staff are very helpful though they often appear overly busy...staff shortages? The food budget needs improving as it doesn't appear to be very appetising!
Thank you for taking the time to review Hadrian Park. We are delighted to hear your mother’s care and support is excellent. Our number one priority is to meet every need of the residents who live here, some of which have high dependency needs. This means there will be times that staff seem busy....
Never seems to be enough staff on at any one shift. People are always leaving, high turnover of staff.
Thank you for taking the time to review Hadrian Park. We are a busy home and there will be times that our team will seem busy. Many residents have high dependency needs which can require up to four staff to support them. However, to reassure you, we use a very efficient staff planning tool and our...
Came in from hospital I was very anxious but need not of worried they made me feel at home and the six weeks passed very quickly. The disadvantage was that visitors had to wait half an hour to get in but appreciate the current climate.
My mam has been in Hadrian Park for six years now. She is happy there and didn't take too long for her to settle. I am happy with the care she receives but I do have to say that in the six years it hasn't always been plain sailing. The manager is very approachable and through this tough year has done his best to keep the communication going.

Meet the Team (1)

I was keen to join Care UK because it is known as one of the best providers of older peoples care. I'd heard about how supportive the organisation was and had actually managed a local residential home. Hadrian Park was our biggest rival, so when a suitable role came up here, I grabbed it with both hands!
I love having a chance to have a chat with the wonderful residents of Hadrian Park. Their lives are incredibly interesting, and each person has a story to tell. I feel extremely privileged to be able to care for them and support them, particularly through the difficult times of the pandemic.
I also feel very privileged to work with such a fantastic team. Each person who works at Hadrian Park is passionate, caring and always puts residents first. It's what makes our care home so special and what enables residents to live fulfilling lives.
Away from work, I unwind by spending time with my family, reading, watching documentaries and enjoying holidays in the sun.
