Having fun, keeping active and receiving the best of care is what living at Hadrian Park care home is all about. The team provides residential and dementia care, as well as short-term respite care that is personalised to the needs and interests of each individual.

The team at Hadrian Park has extensive dementia training allowing them to provide he best possible care to residents living with the condition. The home also has dementia-friendly spaces, including a Namaste care room, vintage-style tea room and interactive space in the courtyard gardens.

The majority of ground floor bedrooms also benefit from direct access to the gardens, where there are seating areas and flower beds for residents to enjoy with year-round interest.

an agreed hourly charge for this service.

I have found all the staff to be very friendly and approachable. I was worried about Mam going into a care home, but I didn't need to. Mam has settled in well, apart from not joining in with the activities, the staff do go round the home trying to involve all the residents but Mam isn't interested.
The home always seems to be clean and tidy and Covid rules are followed.

Hadrian Park is a lovely, friendly place for my mum to stay. We recognise that there are times when challenges need to be met and Hadrian Park reaches up to those challenges and manages them so very well. Hadrian Park provides a variety of activities to keep the residents active and happy and we as
a family appreciate the updates via social media. There is nothing I like more than seeing my mum enjoying a good old sing-song.

My mam is a resident in Hadrian Park as she has dementia. She was really unsettled when she first arrived but the lovely staff did everything they could to make her feel welcome, safe and cared for. For the first few weeks of her stay, I was unable to visit my mam inside but once I was allowed inside
all the staff I encountered were all extremely helpful and pleasant. All the carers involved in my mam's care are always aware of her day to day mood and general well-being and are always happy to attend to anything Mam needs whilst I’ve ever been there even if it’s just been reassuring my mum.

Mam needed an urgent place of care and Hadrian Park had a room available.
This was all very new to us, Mam has dementia and she needed more care than we were able to give her, this was a very difficult decision we had to make and very emotional. From manager to senior staff, to cleaning staff, everyone
has gone above and beyond to make this decision as painless as possible for us and have been so kind and caring to both us as a family and Mam.
It is early days and the disease in its nature means every visit is like walking into the unknown, but the fantastic staff are there to help in any way they can. We know mam is safe and being cared for properly.
Nothing can ever take away the pain of leaving your parent with others and the awfulness of dementia but the staff here do everything possible to ease this pain and for this, we are truly thankful.

My mother has been a resident at Hadrian Park since 2018. One of the reasons the family chose Hadrian Park was because of its close proximity to family. The staff are caring and helpful and keep my mother safe and she is receiving the right level of care and support.

The staff are lovely, I don’t know how they manage to remain upbeat through all this Covid chaos. It has created so much extra work for people who already had a difficult job. They have made the best of a very difficult time and do their best to keep the residents’ spirits up.

We moved my gran into Hadrian Park just before the national lockdown and couldn’t be happier that we did. Throughout the whole of lockdown, Hadrian Park has ensured we were updated, had contact with my gran and that she was well looked after. Really happy that Care UK have kept us updated via letter
too through the whole pandemic.
Since lockdown has eased, management have allowed visits but balanced it with the current risk of Covid-19, it all runs very smoothly. The home itself is always clean and the staff are always friendly and visible. Throughout her time at the home, Gran has commented on how much she loves the place and the staff. Couldn’t recommend the place more highly.

My mother entered Hadrian Park in October 2018 when she was unable to look after herself at home, and as my wife and I live in Australia we had to find the best home to look after her, of all the homes we looked at Hadrian Park was way above the rest. We were able to visit in 2019 and the staff made
us very welcome and made it feel like a home away from home. Over the past eighteen months, due to Covid, we have not been able to visit, but we see and talk to my mother on Skype every week. The staff are so friendly, supportive and helpful with information regarding anything about what is happening in the home, and we receive updates on a regular basis via e-mail. My mother is treated with both respect, dignity and compassion. the home tries various ways to ensure the residents remain both fiscally and mentally fit and well. I look forward to visit Mam in person and thank the staff who are caring for her personally, they are doing a fantastic job under extreme conditions with the Covid.

My mum moved into Hadrian Park on 13th March 2020, prior to that she had day visits two days a week and kept saying I want to live there it's lovely. So she got her wish. She is very happy living at Hadrian Park, all the staff are brilliant I cannot praise them enough. If she falls over (which she does)
they inform me straight away. Keep up the good work you all do a brilliant job.

I recommend Hadrian Park to anyone who is looking for a home for their loved one. When we had to find a home for our mother we visited many homes and Hadrian Park was found to be the perfect place for her to settle. She was made so welcome and was immediately at home. She is cared for with love and
compassion and we've never doubted our decision. The staff are always there to answer any concerns and we can now all sleep peacefully at night knowing she is safe and happy.

My Mum moved to Hadrian Park from another care home just before the first Covid lockdown. Despite not being able to go in and see mum the care staff have ensured we can keep in touch with telephone calls, Skype calls and visits in their dedicated visiting pod.
The staff and management are all so approachable
and understand our concerns at this difficult time. Families have been kept up to date with regular updates via letter from the chief executive, contact via email and telephone from the management and care team.
Nothing ever seems to be a bother all the staff appear to be caring and compassionate and go the extra mile to ensure that residents are kept comfortable and engaged while they can’t meet with their families.
I can telephone or email at any time and always get a prompt response.
The photos that are shared keep us up to date with what’s going on. Despite the Covid restrictions the residents seem to have such fun in their small group activities.

The decision to admit a much loved family member into a care home during a Pandemic was very difficult for us to make. The circumstances have been immensely challenging with the family not being allowed to visit due to restrictions, alongside our relative’s deteriorating health and well-being. The Team
at Hadrian Park has strived to keep the family up-to-date and deliver care and support to meet the frequently changing needs of our relative and interface with other health and social care staff. This has been much appreciated and a big “thanks” to the Manager and his team.
As we have been unable to enter the home I’m unable to comment on aspects of cleanliness and facilities etc but have marked as good to proceed in posting the review.

Dad entered Hadrian Park at the peak of covid 19 so we were a bit apprehensive about him going in without us visiting the home first as this wasn’t allowed I read reviews and went by word of mouth from people I know.
Staff were very helpful with information regarding the home and encouraged us to
ring at any time if we wanted to know anything without us feeling that we were bothering them.
Dad has settled and staff are always pleasant on the phone regarding information on dad’s care and wellbeing. Due to covid in the home, I have only managed to see dad in the pod once which was lovely as he looked well and was interactive with us telling us what he had been doing.
During the outbreak in the home, staff have been informative with what is happening and I feel that they have kept dad safe which must be really hard to do with people with dementia.
I look forward to the day I can visit dad in person and meet staff who are caring for him.

I would highly recommend this care home to others. I have found all members of staff very helpful, and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. My mother has been in Hadrian Park 3 times now for respite and I can't fault the place at all. The staff go above and beyond all expectations. I couldn't ask for better care for my mother. My Mum came to Hadrian Park in November 2018, as she was no longer able to live at Home.
The care she receives at Hadrian Park is outstanding.
The staff are kind, considerate and very patient.
The atmosphere within the home is very friendly.
Cleanliness is of a very good standard and there is never
an aroma when you walk into the home.
My mum has settled very well and has made some new friends.

Job Title: Home Manager

I was keen to join Care UK because it is known as one of the best providers of older peoples care. I'd heard about how supportive the organisation was and had actually managed a local residential home. Hadrian Park was our biggest rival, so when a suitable role came up here, I grabbed it with both hands!


I love having a chance to have a chat with the wonderful residents of Hadrian Park. Their lives are incredibly interesting, and each person has a story to tell. I feel extremely privileged to be able to care for them and support them, particularly through the difficult times of the pandemic.


I also feel very privileged to work with such a fantastic team. Each person who works at Hadrian Park is passionate, caring and always puts residents first. Its what makes our care home so special and what enables residents to live fulfilling lives.


Away from work, I unwind by spending time with my family, reading, watching documentaries and enjoying holidays in the sun.
