Please note, the weekly fee does not include hairdressing, chiropody or other healthcare visits or appointments not covered by the NHS, toiletries, newspapers or magazines, any over the counter medications that a GP wouldn’t normally prescribe such as paracetamol and indigestion relief, and any other privately arranged healthcare. Should you require an escort to hospital appointments, we may apply an agreed hourly charge for this service.
We suggest residents arrive with a personal allowance which can be used for some additional services such as chiropodist , dental and optician visits , tuck shop and hairdressing .
We have an on site hair salon with hairdresser visiting weekly.

Lambton House politely request that families and friends of residents please make an advance courtesy call to the home to advise that you intend to visit residents here or take residents out of the home.
Advance notice courtesy calls particularly relevant if you wish to reserve visiting time in the Library or the heated Tearoom or Bar.
Advance notice also helps the housekeeping team who can prioritise bedrooms where resident bedroom visits taking place.
