Langley Park Care Home

Our mother has been a resident now for nearly 4 years, sadly her dementia is in the latter stages now and needs more care than ever. The love and care our mother gets from the staff really is the best, it’s first-class. We can’t wait to get back obviously to see Mam but also the staff, because we have missed them they are like family. Thank you

I miss visiting my dad but I understand reasons behind measures. Today was my dad's birthday, the weather not good but the staff brought my dad into the foyer so I could see him and wish him a Happy Birthday whilst maintaining social distancing. I feel my dad is in good hands whilst residing there.

Our mam has been extremely well cared for and loved at Langley Park Care Home. It has made such a difference to our lives knowing this. Many thanks to all the wonderful staff who ended up being friends.

The atmosphere in the home was happy and it felt like being part of a family. The staff were kind, friendly, approachable and always available to discuss the needs of residents. They were gentle with my husband and always treated him with dignity. The sense of humour and cheerful banter were much appreciated, as was the welcome from whoever opened the door. More lavatories would be useful. Several residents enjoyed the gentle activity of singing to a piano accompaniment. Please, could the rather nice piano in the lounge be tuned?

During my father-in-law's time spent in the care home, he has improved vastly both in his health and his general outlook on life. He is able to mix with other residents and join in the activities should he wish to do so, or he can retire to his room and relax. Previously, he sat in his chair in his bungalow with no communication with the outside world.

The staff are always very friendly and helpful and when needed the staff are always there.

I personally have found all the staff from management down to the cleaners always pleasant, friendly and very caring with all the residents. Nothing is a problem to any of them.

I am quite happy with the care and attention my wife is receiving. Facilities are good, staff are excellent and plenty of activities for her to join in with when she has the attention span! Overall I think she is settled and is quite content with her surroundings as far as I can see! Thanks.

My mother's care couldn't have been better. The staff were kind, compassionate and would go the "extra mile" to ensure those in their care were looked after to the highest standards. Nothing was too much trouble, not only for the residents but for family and friends visiting. They not only took care of the residents but they also befriended them establishing a good rapport, talking to them as equals and making every effort to include everyone in the many activities they arrange. When my mother's health, unfortunately, began to deteriorate we were kept informed and included in every aspect of her care and wellbeing. She was kept clean, comfortable and pain-free in her final days. We couldn't have wished for anything more from them for our mother.

I made many friends with the staff and residents whilst visiting mam. I still call in to see everyone and am made very welcome every time.

This care home is highly satisfactory. Very good to patients. Good food. My aunt was a nursing sister. She is very happy and content. I don't think she could do any better. Staff are very helpful.

My mother has been a resident for more than eight years and although her health has deteriorated, the care and consideration she receives has not. Staff are always cheerful and establish a good rapport with both relatives and residents. They deserve more recognition, certainly in financial terms, for the tasks they undertake!

The home is well kept. Visiting can be done most of the day or night.

I have lived here a while now and all I can say is, this is a fantastic home with great staff and an excellent manager who has helped me a lot.

My opinion applies to all the time I have been here.

I am very happy at this home and find everything good.

I also enjoy my time here because of all activities and staff and everyone are very kind. The food is lovely and the home is clean and tidy.

I started to visit my friend when she became a resident of Langley Park in November 2013. The care she was given was excellent. I was also looked after on my views and kept up to date on everything. I found the staff, from management to kitchen, were pleasant and helpful at all times. My friend passed away on November 2016, but I still visit the home as I made some good friends there. The atmosphere is lovely and welcoming. In my opinion, the staff at Langley Park are a real credit to Four Seasons and I have already recommended the home to people I know.

I was amazed at how quickly my mother settled in at the home. The difference in her behaviour was a joy. Many of her friends and family friends have enquired after her and we - 2 brother and a sister - have been able to say how happy we have been with the care she is getting. We are all very impressed with the staff. They are superb. Thank them, please.

Staff are welcoming, caring and friendly. Home made food is plentiful and help is given at mealtimes where needed. Rooms are clean and warm. A coffee morning is held weekly for residents, family and members of the local community are all welcome.

I can't praise the staff enough for their dedication and hard work. My dad is well cared for, the staff are very helpful and always keep you up to date with things. I would recommend the care home to anyone.
