Mum has been in the care home now for 3 months, which was temporary to begin with, but we have decided to make this a permanent arrangement. She is cared for on the dementia floor and often engages in activities on the ground floor. She has settled now and enjoys the company of the staff and other residents.
Staff are always friendly, caring and comforting to her. We have noticed how difficult it is for the staff who are dealing with dementia residents, and on some occasions, feel more staff would be beneficial. We do feel any issues we have with mum's care are always dealt with professionally.

A beautiful home filled with peace and love. My Nan was here from July 2025 until Feb 2026 and she was treated with compassion, dignity and respect from the very start of her stay.
The rooms are comfortable and clean and spacious with lovely views of the garden and surrounding area. There is a lovely
atmosphere everytime you enter the building.
The staff, from the kitchen to the cleaners to the carers to the manager, each and every one of them made my nans stay here a joy. Such kind and compassionate people, i'll never forget.
The other residents are lovely here, everyone is clean and tidy too because the carers make sure to take the time to get them all spruced up ready for their day. The food is delicious too.
There is an abundance of activities going on during the day which my nan used to enjoy very much. Thankyou to the lodge for making a big difference in our lives. I'm so thankful to the fabulous carers who looked after Nan so well.

The St Helen's Team are amazing. They have supported not just my father, but our whole family through a very emotionally difficult time. We were immediately welcomed into their care home environment as though we were extended family. The care showed to residents to meet their physical, nutritional and
emotional needs is very evident. All residents appear happy and interact well with each other and staff. Facilities are clean and well maintained, with appropriate spaces available to meet the various needs of the residents. I would have no hesitation in recommending St Helen's to anyone. They should be proud of what they achieve day to day and the care they provide. Thank you to all.

Staff are friendly, caring and welcoming to both residents and visitors. The management goes above and beyond in every aspect of the care home. Food is excellent and plentiful, freshly prepared with a good variety. There are plenty of activities for residents to get involved if they wish to. The home
is cleaned daily by a brilliant team of cleaners and laundry staff who also regularly have residents laughing and singing. I am more than happy with the care my husband receives here.

My mother has been a resident for the past 3/4 years due to dementia and I can not fault the attention and attitudes of the staff. To me they look after my mam like she was their own. My mother suffers terribly with chest infections and they are always quick to pick up on it when she starts becoming
unwell. They sort out the matron and always let me know what the outcome is and the tablets etc that she is getting. The cleanliness of the home is great. I never see anything out of place or dust anywhere. Even the cleaning staff are super friendly and stop and chat with my mam. I also have to say the food is amazing as well. My mam eats everything. Never complains always says she loves the good old traditional food Fish and chips Friday and Sunday dinners. Overall my opinion is it's like a home from home. The staff are super friendly and very helpful. They also have activities going on throughout the year and include everyone summer fete and Christmas parties. My mam loves them all

Dad arrived in Dene Grange the day before Christmas Eve, a very emotional day for us as a family and of course Dad. The staff were all so supportive, caring and reassuring and made Dad so welcome. In the early days Dad took a little while to settle due to his Dementia and health issues.
I can happily

He is very well cared for always nicely dressed and clean. The staff are amazing with Dad.

Pleasant surroundings, neat and well kept rooms and common areas. Food and drinks good, but most importantly , the staff are brilliant.
Really attentive and bend over backwards to Care for clients. Christine the Manager runs a tight ship but is always available to help. Cilla and Faye and Kate were
brilliant with my dad ( as were all staff), and were especially good when it came to managing his final days. Nursing Care and GP Attendance are well coordinated and all in all his stay there for 10 months was very pleasant.
