Our mum has now been in Botham Hall for just short of 2 years. From when she went in the difference certainly shows. Considering she adamant she didn't want to go in a care home, after the extremely difficult decision, we decided that it would be the best thing for her. Botham Hall was recommended to us by a residents wife, it was the best thing we did for mum. They made her feel very welcome and comfortable. As for myself I always feel comfortable coming to see mum there. The staff are really good with my mum and the others residents. Everyone does a great job. Would recommend to anyone. Like I say it's an extremely hard decision putting your loved one into care but it's helped myself and family knowing that there is someone there for her 24/7.
Thank you for such a heartfelt review and recommendation. Knowing there's always someone there for your mum and it gives your whole family peace of mind, is exactly what we strive for. We'll pass your thanks on to everyone at Botham Hall.
My mother has been in this care home for almost four years. We feel that she has been very well looked after. The staff are always friendly and polite. They look after my Mother's physical and psychological needs to the best of their ability. They regularly go the extra mile, and we are more than happy with the standard of care she receives. I would have no hesitation in recommending Botham Hall Care Home to anyone looking for one.
thank you for the review , we do our best to look after our residents, and their wellbeing.
The staff are wonderful and nothing is too much always friendly always have a smile they are crazy but great nothing is too much for them
Thank you for such lovely feedback. Nearly two years in, it's wonderful to hear your mum is thriving and we'll happily pass your thanks on to everyone at Botham Hall.
The team at Botham Hall are brilliant. The invest in the people and the families they care for and I couldn't asked for anymore. If you are looking for good care please consider this home. Upon looking around for my Dad, I asked what are the visiting hours, I was told 'this is a place we call home'. The passion and dedication was outstanding. The home is dated but it very clean. If you want care for a loved one and want to know they are being care. I never doubt that as money sometimes doesn't pay for experience. Thank you all at Botham Hall.
Thank you for such a heartfelt review and for recommending us. We're glad the passion and dedication of the team came through, and that you never doubt your dad is well cared for. We'll pass your thanks on to everyone.
I feel like my nan was very safe here. I felt at ease ever since she arrived. My nan was only here for 3 weeks but the 3 weeks I knew she was safe. All members of staff are so welcoming are caring. They care for not just the residents but the family's too. This is a prime example of what a care home should be. Thank you to everyone here and I am so thankful she had all you with her. Thank you!
We only had your nan a short time but felt like we knew you all so well.
Really attentive and bend over backwards to Care for clients. Christine the Manager runs a tight ship but is always available to help. Cilla and Faye and Kate were brilliant with my dad ( as were all staff), and were especially good when it came to managing his final days. Nursing Care and GP Attendance are well coordinated and all in all his stay there for 10 months was very pleasant.

After months in hospital Grandad came into the care of Botham Hall.
My daughter and I were worried how he would adjust but there was no need.
The staff are amazing and make you feel so welcome.
The changes in grandad physically and mentally have been amazing.
Thank you to the amazing team and all that you do!
Thank you so much for the kind words, it is nice to hear we have made a difference to your grandad.
As a family we have been very impressed with Botham Hall Care Home. My father had had several failed discharges from hospital and we realised he needed more care than could be provided at home. From our first visit we were very impressed with the friendliness and kindness of all the staff. The nursing care that is provided is excellent with detailed care plans for each resident. The rooms are clean warm and welcoming, the food is wonderful & my father is thriving. We can visit anytime and are always made welcome.
Thank you for the kind review we are very happy that your dad has settled and that you are happy with our home.
Mum suffered from dementia and spent the last ten months of her life in Botham Hall Care Home. The staff were always wonderful and cared for her with sensitivity during her time there. She was encouraged to join in the activities as far as she was able and had a good quality of life right to the end. At the beginning, when Mum was able to walk, the staff always had time to help her walk to the lounge rather than just take the easy way of using a wheelchair and this helped her keep mobile as long as possible. Medical issues were handled quickly and effectively and I was always kept informed which was very important as I live 4 hours away from the home. The atmosphere in the home was always great and the building was well maintained, with continuous activities, even on potentially lower priority items like refreshing paintwork and cleaning windows. I always felt confident that Mum was well cared for and in a light, open environment with wide corridors.
Thank you so much for sharing your heartfelt review. It's truly touching to hear how our team at Botham Hall Care Home made a positive difference in your mum's life during her time with us. We're so glad to know she felt cared for and supported and that you felt reassured, despite living far away....
I visit my partner at the home on a regular basis, I have always found the staff pleasant and helpful. The care home is always clean and as tidy as a living/working environment can be. There is a relaxed atmosphere in the home, such that those that want to rest and sleep can do so and others can read or watch television. The residents are encouraged to go to the communal dining room for meals which encourages them to be mobile and provide more of a community atmosphere. The food is well presented and tasty (from experience). All patients, even the 'difficult ones' are treated with respect.
Thank you so much for your kind words and thoughtful review. We're delighted to hear that you've had such positive experiences during your visits to Botham Hall Care Home. Our team works hard to maintain a warm, respectful, and welcoming environment for all our residents, and it's wonderful to know...
My mum has quite challenging behaviour at times and every effort was made to assist her in any way possible to smooth the settling in period. We have been able to personalise and furnish her bedroom in a way which has helped Mums transition no end.
Thank you for your kind words, we genuinely try to give our residents the best possible experience.
