My mum was discharged to Botham Hall from the hospital in June 2022 in a very poor state healthwise. The staff at Botham Hall immediately enlisted medical assistance for her and nursed her back to health even though it took six months. My mum, even though she has dementia, praises the staff for their
kindness and constantly tells me how happy she is, as am I. I can't praise this home and staff enough. I, too, appreciate their friendship and kindness.

From the moment my dad went into Botham Hall Care Home, he was treated with dignity and respect. Our thoughts on my dad's care, as a family, were respected and we are always made to feel very welcome.
We are kept up to date with all aspects of his care and his care plan is available to read whenever
we should wish.
All areas of the home are clean and tidy and the decor and furnishings are modern, light and airy.
The staff, although always busy, take time to talk with the residents and the visitors and nothing is too much trouble.
The staff show a genuine interest in the residents and their families and although my dad's "new home" is Botham Hall, we feel like we are a part of that family too.

My husband has been a resident at Botham Hall Care Home since June. When he first arrived (following a stay in hospital) he was withdrawn and non-verbal. However, after only a few weeks with the encouragement of the wonderful staff, he is now able to communicate and respond to simple questions. All
the staff are really friendly and the interaction with both residents and visitors is second to none. Activities are available most days and everyone is encouraged to join in. The home is maintained to a very high standard, communal areas and bedrooms are well-decorated and very clean. I have complete confidence that Botham Hall provides a high quality of individualised support, personal and social care for my husband.

From the very first phone call, I knew that I had to look round to see if my mum could settle here. Every member of staff from that day on have been kind, approachable and welcoming.
On day one, my mum was quite emotional and reactive. The staff dealt with her calmly and professionally. My mum settled
in well after her initial teething problems. She can be a fussy eater and they are happy to offer alternatives. She always seems happy and in good spirits. She speaks about the staff in a really caring and loving way, comfortable in their company and happy to be helped by them. The staff are always happy to pass information and updates on to me. They are honest and above all else, they genuinely "care".

The atmosphere at Botham Hall Care Home is usually peaceful (although I'm told it can be quite hectic at times!) and welcoming. The home is clean and tidy and nicely decorated. The staff are very friendly and always have time to talk to relatives if needed. Relatives meetings are held regularly where
issues (if any) are raised and future plans discussed. My sister is very happy at Botham Hall and is very well looked after. Thank you to all the staff.

My mother has been a resident at Botham Hall for several years and in all of that time she has always received excellent care from the staff. The staff are exceptional and always go beyond their duties to make sure she was happy. The care home is spotlessly clean plus the food is excellent. My mother
has recently passed away on 6th April 2023 and whilst me and all my family members were in and out of the home at all times. The members of staff could not do enough for us or my mother. In fact, three members of staff were with me when my mother passed away and I would like to say a big thank you to them all who at all times went above and beyond with the care of my mother, at that time. Thank you.

My mother has been at Botham Hall since the 7th of June 2022, and it is by far the best home I have seen. She has been cared for by all the staff, and I cannot thank them enough. The best care I could have dreamed of.

Lovely care home, located a short distance from Milnsbridge, overlooking fields and woods. Very quiet area. All rooms and communal areas are maintained to a very high standard. Spotlessly clean throughout. There is a nice secure garden area to the front which is lovely to sit out in with Mum in the
summer. Rooms are nicely decorated and of a high standard. We always struggled to get Mum to eat and generally look after herself prior to arrival. But within a few short weeks, had improved dramatically and looked a lot more well. The food is of a high standard and always smells lovely. All the staff are very friendly and have a great sense of humour. Mum has quite advanced dementia now, but I feel she is very well looked after and with the utmost dignity and compassion. The staff do a very good job of keeping me informed and up to date on Mums' condition and will let me know if she needs anything. Overall, I don't think I could have chosen a better care home for Mum.

I have been very impressed by the staff's responsiveness to my mother-in-law's changing needs and by the way, they have kept my wife informed about her health issues and emotional state, regularly taking on board my wife's opinions and concerns. Above all, I have been extremely impressed by the quality
of the relationships between staff and residents. A stable and very able staff seem to be at the core of these relationships. They are superb.

I was moved to the care home Botham Hall Care Home. I was made at home in a few hours. The staff took care, and made me feel wanted again and I found friends together from staff and visitors. I have a T.V.

I've visited Botham Hall Care Home since Mum went there in July 2021. All the staff are kind, caring and go above and beyond. There is always a friendly and happy atmosphere and is exceptionally clean. Mum settled really quickly and is very happy having a laugh and fun with staff daily. The staff not
only show care and compassion to Mum, but also to us which was evident from the start. Could not have asked for a better group of staff.

Mum moved into Botham Hall in July 2021. We have had nothing but the best of care, compassion and friendliness shown to both Mum and ourselves. They are very good at keeping us informed of everything. They are always on the ball with any concerns and relay them quickly. Our family recently had a very
difficult family tragedy and the staff were very, very supportive of us and Mum. What more can I say. They are fantastic. Best decision we've made.

My cousin was in Botham Hall for an assessment bed following a hospital stay. The staff were very caring and efficient. Especially three of the staff, who were the main people we liaised with. The Home itself was a bit run down in so far as the decor was concerned and my cousin's bed was a rather narrow
and uncomfortable one. Nevertheless, the staff we met were lovely and were obviously committed to care.

I have observed that the needs of the resident have been well understood and cared for, even in spite of the fact that she was unable to express them clearly. Although the home was closed due to covid, I was kept informed of her progress.

My mother has been in the care of Botham Hall care home for a number of years. She has always received exceptional care and respect and dignity and has been attended to promptly in any medical problems. The staff have always been kind and friendly and very helpful towards us especially over the last
few months due to mother’s decline in health and ability and nothing seems to be too much trouble for them.
