Anna and her staff are great. Kind, caring, professional, nothing is too much trouble. My father is living at Half Acre at the moment. Prior to this my mother lived there until she died in September last year. The last week of her life was extremely stressful but made so much easier by Anna and the staff.

This care facility is outstanding the love and care they have shown towards my mother has been amazing when my mother first went into heywood court in April she was bed bound and was unable to do anything for herself and to be totally honest we didn't think she would last 2 weeks we thought that this was the end for her she's 91 years old the staff have gone above and beyond with the love and care they have given her so much so she is now mobile again and able to wash and dress herself again we can not thank Michael and his staff enough for all the love and care they've given to my mother if you're are in a position where you are looking for a care provider for your loved ones I would highly recommend heywood court

The home is so full of compassionate staff who are so happy, friendly, and fabulous with the care they give to their residents. Nothing is to much for them. The home manager always goes above and beyond in her role and is always on hand if needed. After feeling so guilty about putting mum in care I actually leave after my visit know my mum is absolutely taken care of and I have no worries to think about. I would highly recommend this homely, friendly, caring compationate, wonderful home.

This place has been amazing for my Grandma. She is in better health and is generally happier than she was before she became a resident here. The staff are so kind to her and make her feel special. They have also been so helpful to us as a family by going above and beyond in their care of my Grandma. It's a fantastic place ran by fantastic people. Thank you so much.

Half Acre is a very special place and I am more than happy to leave my husband in their safe hands. I was very reluctant to put him into care but more than 2 years on and I know I made the right decision. Anna and her staff go over and above everything expected of them. I would recommend Half Acre to anyone. It feels like home from home , when I visit the staff are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.

The most important thing about any care home is the staff not the bricks + mortar, the staff here are really caring and considerate. Mum is settled in very well.

My mother seems happy here and the staff look after her well, very friendly and caring.

my mum is cared for, the staff are all helpful & friendly. Since mum's stroke I can no longer care for her so it's important for me to be comfortable with mum's care. I would recommend Heywood Court.

My Grandad came to Heywood Court in May, he took about 2 weeks to settle in. The staff were always on hand to help and answer and questions or queries and listened to the likes and dislikes of my Grandad. I felt very at ease transferring the care of my Grandad over to the home as I was his main carer so was very hesitant about leaving him. The staff put my mind at ease, and most importantly listened. My Grandad is loving being there and I am at ease when I'm at home or work knowing that he is happy, safe and looked after.

my wife has been in Heywood Court for over 12months, I find the staff very helpful careing and she gets on well with all the staff, the ladies in laundry room keep every clean, she likes the food , the room she in is clean and tidy .

Mum has been a resident since January and she is very well looked after. All the staff have been very welcoming and supportive of both my mum and the family. I would recommend Half Acre if you are considering care for a family member

I have always found the standard of care and consideration of the residents' interests excellent, and there is a wonderful care team. It is easy to see they Marton Care Homes Ltd (the provider) is rated among the top twenty care home groups in the UK.

Often in dirty clothes and sat in her own urine. Staff refuse to put her in bed when that's all she really wanted to do. She was "too hard work" for them. Following several complaints from my mum to the manger which got her no where other than a 2 week eviction notice. An old frail lady in her 80s with early onset of vascular dementia was asked to leave because they couldn't be bothered to provide for her needs. The manager reported my mum to the services and said she was a safeguarding concern, who is the daughter of my grandma. Absolutely terrible place.

The staff and their performance is excellent, helpful and friendly. The family connections of staff make it feel homely, whilst the general cleaning is satisfactory. Detail cleaning is poor, ie corners, lift and against skirting boards. The several small lounges are a good idea and work well. Plenty of drinks and food, which is tasty and filling. Although only been here for 5 days, but not yet got used to the routine and system. A briefing sheet for carers would be useful, setting out basic information and expectations.

Went to visit a friend at the Half Acre House Care Home in Radcliffe. Been a couple of times. Really welcoming atmosphere. We played bingo - staff, residents and visitors. Family atmosphere. cake and drinks. Residents were very involved. Couldn't fault it. Clean and Tidy.

My wife has been here at Heywood Court for a number of years, and she settled in very well, thankfully. I would put that down to the staff who do a fantastic job and are underpaid. It would be very nice if some cash could be spent on the garden, which would help matters in the nicer weather.

I cannot thank the team at Half Acre Care Home enough for the incredible care they provide to my mum. From the moment she arrived over 5 years ago, it was clear that this is more than just a care facility - it's a place filled with warmth, compassion, and genuine kindness.

The staff are not only highly professional but also incredibly caring and attentive. They treat my mum with the same love and respect they would show their own family, which means the world to us. It gives me peace of mind knowing she's in such capable and compassionate hands.

Every member of the team goes above and beyond to ensure she is comfortable, happy, and well looked after. Their dedication shines through in everything they do - from the thoughtful little touches to the constant communication and support they offer our family.

Half Acre truly feels like a home, not just for my mum, but for all of us who care about her. We're so grateful to have found such a special place.
