The service has been excellent - first-rate care, friendly staff, constant support. My mother loves the staff - she says they are so attentive. She also loves the food! She has a lovely room, with pleasant views over lawn and trees. She recently had a mild seizure and had immediate professional help
from staff and paramedics.

My mam has been in care home for 2 1/2 years. Staff are very supportive and good with my mam. Staff are very caring and all my mam's needs are met. The staff are very supportive with my mam and my dad during his visits to see my mam. My dad enjoys the entertainment as much as my mam.

My mother has been in this care home for approx 1 month. She seems to have settled well. Staff are very supportive. She has dementia and walking difficulties, and can be quite agitated at times. Staff are very good with her. It is early days, but I am sure she is getting the care she needs.

The staff are very caring towards the residents and give emotional support. The staff take pride in their work and give 100% in their jobs. My mam has settled in really well and this is down to the staff and the care they give. The manager and nurse and staff are very approachable and any questions
or concerns they give the time to speak to family members.

Dad has been a resident since December 2024 and I will willingly admit that he can be quite difficult (impatient, very hard of hearing) on top of his main care needs. That said I have found all the staff I have come across to be friendly and professional. Have found that those I have chatted to about
dad to be genuinely interested in him as a person. He is well cared for and i have no concerns about the level of care he receives. It is a huge comfort to know that he is being looked after so well and as a family we really appreciate it.

The home is making some great improvements in regard to decoration.
Mum says she's not keen on the meals, but this is the only negative thing she says. Mum likes the staff. There are regular activities for the residents and open days for relatives and friends. The staff are very friendly and can't
do enough for you. Overall I feel the home is a good standard.
Reply from Paul Millar, Client Relations at Elizabeth Fleming Care HomeThank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review! Outstanding care home! I cannot rate The Lodge Care Home high enough - the staff are outstanding and always a high volume of staff too - with great sense of respect and dignity shown and they all have so much fun too! From initial respite care my Godmother has moved permanently into The Lodge and we
have been allowed to make some changes to her room to allow more bespoke storage - feel so relieved she is in safe hands.

My only fault is the dining room floor, scuff marks from the zimmer frames and wheel chairs. I could not of found a better care home for my mam. She absolutely loves living there. The staff are amazing and so caring. The food and the activities are excellent. Faultless.
