It's nice to see investment has been made to purchase new furniture making the care home warm and welcoming for residents and for visitors a like. Well done.

I have always found the staff to be warm and welcoming, they always try and help with all enquiries about my mam. My mam seems very settled she does think of it as her home, the staff do try and get her involved with the activities sometimes she does interact and enjoys doing them but I know she is sometimes difficult depends on her mood but the activities do help! The staff make her feel at ease and calm her down when she needs it they always try to make it feel a relaxing and happy atmosphere for everyone.

The home is clean and well kept.

The staff are very welcoming to visitors, no matter what time you go into the home.

Mam has lived at the home now for 15 months, she is well cared for and tells us she likes living there. Any concerns we have are listened to and acted upon, if they have any concerns they ring us or get the matron out to see her. Mam joins in with activities regularly. The staff and management are friendly, the home is clean and nicely decorated.

Everything else is more than satisfactory , especially the rooms and safety. As the residents are treated with the upmost care.

I would recommend Riverside Care Home, Darlington. Definitely worth a look.

Only thing the meals could improve a little

Both my mam and dad were cared for in Langley Park Care Home staff were abso fab loads of entertainment lots of singing and dancing. They also done loads of crafts which everyone enjoyed played bingo and many more things so theres something for everybody. Often see some of the residents having a little walk round the village which is lovely to see them outside stopping to have a little chat with them weather permitting. Overall a lovely friendly atmosphere with staff and other residents well done to everybody who makes the home so welcoming.

My review on the Grosvenor Park Care Home is a really warm home pleasant care home the staff are all very friendly and the activity lady Jemma is very good with all residents she put on a really good Olympics sports day for the residents not just for Grosvenor but for other homes as well

My mother has dementia and has been in Riverside for over 1 year. The care she receives is 100%. The staff treat my mother with dignity and respect at all times. Here are plenty of activities for my mam to get involved in, if she wants to. In my opinion Riverside View is without doubt the best care home in Darlington. The management and staff are a credit to the company and really do care

My mother in law has been in Langley Park Care Home for over 2 years. Staff are so friendly and Betty is well cared for and happy. The staff are approachable and look after Betty's needs far better than we could as she has Alzheimer's.

My mother is a resident in the care home at Langley Park. I visit her about twice a week and I can honestly say love to come to this care home. I find the staff and the loveliest managers and team leaders always pleasant and helpful. All other staff are fantastic. I have no issues with this care home. Jade the receptionist, is very sociable and helpful.

Very pleasantly situated. Nice back garden. Staff are nice to get on with. Always try to be helpful. Entertainment is very acceptable and frequent. All in al good home.

My uncle was looked after with dignity and respect, senior staff loaded with outside professionals to ensure he received best care possible. Staff communicated very well with family through this stay.

My experience with Grosvenor Park began five years ago when a close friend became a resident. The staff, from management to carers, treat her with patience, dignity and kindness, always going above and beyond.The home is clean and welcoming, but it is the people who make it special. It doesn't feel like a care home; it feels like a family.I can finally be Mum's daughter again, knowing she is safe and surrounded by people who genuinely care. I will always be grateful to the whole team.l

My father received amazing care at the home. The care workers always showed patience and care even when dad was being difficult. They kept the room clean and tidy and made sure Dad was always smart. We would recommend it to anyone.
