My mother has been a resident at Station Court for a few years. She has dementia and is happy and settled. Her condition meant she was unable to attend my daughter's wedding on 25th August. The staff were more than willing to let the bridal party attend on the way to the wedding so she could be on some
of the photos. She was dressed immaculately and very happy although she doesn't really know who we are now. This meant so much to me and my daughter. The recent CQC report does not reflect the standard of care given by the amazing staff. My sister and I would never even consider moving her from such a wonderful environment. Thank you all for making our day!

All the staff were extremely helpful and supportive when we made the difficult decision that mam could no longer live on her own.
The staff genuinely care for my mam and know her well, enabling them to act accordingly to her needs. They are quick to respond to any problems i.e calling out her Doctor
when necessary. The carers always inform me of any health issues with mam and explain the management of care given to her. It is very reassuring to know that mam is well cared for. The staff are really lovely with my mam and treat her with kindness and respect. I am able to go on holiday and know that I don't have to worry about mam. I visit regularly and I am always welcomed by friendly carers and other staff.

My mother was only here for a few weeks before she passed away but in the time she was there, I could not fault the home or the staff one little bit.
Mum could be a stubborn so and so and with her dementia was not happy to be put in there in the first place.
The staff's attitude, kindness and professionalism
eventually started to win Mum over and she was just starting to settle down when things took a downward turn. Anytime anything happened with Mum, i.e. a fall, the home quickly informed me but the call was always started off with reassurances especially if the call was not about a serious incident.
On the number of times we visited, the home was always clean, my mother was always clean and dressed. When you spoke to the staff they were always friendly and made time to speak to you and answer any questions you had.
The manager attended my mother's funeral which my family thought was a very nice mark of respect. From my experience, I would not hesitate to recommend this home to anyone.

What a wonderful place! The staff are amazing, hard working, caring, patient, competent and positive. I was concerned about leaving my husband outside the home environment as I had always been with him. However, at Barchester Station Court the staff looked after him wonderfully. We felt immediately
comfortable and safe. I witnessed how they often went above and beyond. They truly put "care" into care home.

My mother and her family have always been treated with care and respect. Any queries we have had have been promptly looked into. Staff are caring and respectful. There is a friendly cheerful atmosphere in the home.
