Elm Bank Care Home

A very happy place to live. The staff are so helpful and kind.

My mother who is becoming very confused was admitted to Elm Bank 10 days ago. She was reluctant to move but to my surprise has settled much better than expected, mainly because the staff have been so caring and supportive. They redecorated her room prior to admission and hung pictures, curtain rails and shelves. My mother enjoys the meals and loves the circular lounge upstairs. When she asked about changing her room to be near that lounge, instead of expressing frustration (as I did) the staff kindly said it was possible. We'll wait and see.

My father is well looked after with kindness and humour. His behaviour is sometimes difficult and irritating but the staff are great, and the manager is a star.

I enjoy coming to Elm Bank Care Home because it serves my care. When I come here, my wife can go and do her interests. I have made many friends since I have been here and join in with the varied activities.

I think Elm Bank is a very good care home. I have a nice room and I am well looked after. I enjoy all the meals I am given to eat. I think the staff are very caring. I have made quite a few friends here too. I think the home is in an excellent location. I am very happy living here.

Very good caring staff, very good facilities. The care home itself is kept in good and clean condition.

I came to live at Elm Bank after living on my own became too much for me. I needed more care and Elm Bank seemed to suit my needs. I have been happy living here ever since. I think the staff are very nice, my room is lovely and the food is excellent. I have no complaints to make.

I live at Elm Bank Hexam and am very happy here. I have made lots of friends and enjoy the activities, there is always someone to help me.

I was living at home and then I came in here to see if I liked it. I decided that I liked it so much that I thought it would be the best place to stay. I moved in and found to my delight that the staff were excellent with me. I liked my room and thought that the facilities were excellent. I enjoyed the food and the activities provided for me to be involved in.
