A friend of mine has been in residence for several months now and I have been extremely impressed by all aspects of the care he has received. He is very happy in his spacious new room and very complimentary about all the staff. He also appreciates the quality of the meals and care he receives. As a visitor, I am always greeted warmly and have been kept informed of any relevant issues. The precautions regarding Covid are particularly impressive. Thanks to everyone, from the management team to all staff. Great service.
As a family, we cannot fault the care Mum and Dad receive; they are both very happy, and when we visit, we are always made to feel welcome.
We are always informed promptly of any concerns or issues regarding Mum or Dad's health and kept up to date with news of lots of activities they participate in with messages and lovely pictures, which is reassuring to us as a family that they are both receiving excellent care.
Overall, Bron Haul is a lovely little home with a real family feel.
I like the food here. I enjoy a range of activities. I feel supported when I have my meetings. I have good friends that I enjoy chatting with.
Love my room. The sun shines through, this is my home to come and stay. I like going out with the staff for afternoon tea and shopping trips.
I am very happy here. Management and staff are excellent. Happy with my room and enjoy taking part in activities. Enjoy the food, especially the puddings.
Can't ask for anymore. Caring, professional staff, clean and safe environment, always helpful when phoning or visiting and peace of mind knowing that my relative is in safe and capable hands. Thank you, Bron Haul.
Always kept updated with my mother’s care, which always includes some of the activities that she has taken part in. My mum has been staying in the home for many years and is extremely happy with her care and the support that she has received.
Lovely place to stay, the staff and management are very helpful. Enjoy the food. Enjoy the company and chatting. No complaints.
The staff are okay and helpful. The room is comfortable and pets are welcome.
Like my room. Like that I can smoke in the smoking lounge. Staff and management are very helpful and supportive.
Lovely management and staff. I like the choice of food. Really enjoy participating in the activities. I can remain independent but have a lot of company around me. I can have my dog Matilda, and the staff help me walk her.
Love my bedroom with my new furniture and bed. I have been here for 44 years. The food is lovely. Nice activities. I like my cat.
I'm very happy and settled here. I am also able to have my god (Kizzy) with me, and she likes everyone and loves the attention. I'm sleeping very well, and my appetite was extremely poor, but now I'm eating lots more, and I find the meals and snacks beautifully cooked and prepared. I've put on some weight, which I wasn't able to at home. My hairdresser wanted to know what I'd done to my hair - I was puzzled, and then she explained! Because of the food I'm eating, my poor-conditioned hair is in top condition now.
Quite happy with the care home.
Nice food.
Good company.
Good activities,
Nice staff and management.
The relative we have in the home seems to be quite happy and settled with his situation.
The staff are always helpful and polite, whilst also looking after the residents with care and compassion. The recent decorating has really helped to give the communal areas a lift and make them feel much more modern.
Initially I was worried about my brother staying in a care home as we hadn't expected this situation to arise but due to his health issues he now requires additional support 24/7. Due to covid we only had contact via telephone at first and this added to our worries as he struggles with mobile phones but after several telephone conversations with him and the staff at Bron Haul Care Home we needn't have worried. They were very supportive of both my brother and us and appreciated our concerns and provided reassurance. They answered all our questions regardless of how trivial, with hindsight, they seemed and went above and beyond to support us all through this difficult transition. I receive photographs of my brother being involved in the organised activities and staff contact us directly if there are any changes to his medical conditions or requirements he requests. He is settling in well and happy with the staff and the care provided as are we.
Thank you so much for this lovely review it’s much appreciated and I will pass it on to the staff team.
Bron Haul Care Home has been very good caring for my brother for the last ten years. He has always felt happy and secure within the home and is given as much independence as possible. The staff are always very welcoming and inform family should there be any problems or needs of their residents. Staff will always try to make the environment interesting and involve the residents in various events and creative projects should they wish to join in. We are often invited to any celebrations or trips. It has been a very difficult two years during the pandemic but the resident's health and welfare has always been a priority.
Thank you so much for your review and we hope to see you soon.
My father enjoys living at Bron Haul. He is very happy there and is well looked after. The staff are marvellous and dad is always encouraged to join in with the regular activities which can include making decorations, smoothies etc. They always celebrate occasions and decorate the home accordingly i.e for Halloween, Easter and Christmas. During the pandemic, it has been difficult to visit dad but the management and staff have done their best to ensure that we can keep in touch through Skype etc. The home is clean and comfortable and the meals supplied are good. Dad is kept safe and well and I am kept well informed and updated of his well-being.
