We met with the manager at mums home when it was decided that mum needed immediate respite care due to loss of mobility due to meds change. This was organised quickly. The staff where very welcoming and put us at our ease. Mum was very happy with the level of care she received from all the care staff,
and soon started to feel better. I would definitely recommend The Whitehouse and hope and hope that if needed again they have availability.

Dad has been in the Whitehouse for 8 weeks and is extremely well cared for. Any health issues arising are spotted/acted on immediately and I am kept fully informed. Dad is a WW2 veteran and the staff at the home respect and honour him, ensuring he is turned out immaculately for any military events.
Thanks to the staff he is regularly showered, wears clean clothes on a daily basis, is well fed and mentally stimulated by taking part in various social activities especially loving mother toddler visits.

The care my mother has received is excellent. The staff are so patient and caring in what can sometimes be difficult circumstances. I am not there at mealtimes but Mum tells me the food is good. There is always someone on hand in the office to discuss any concerns.

The manager and staff are absolutely amazing. The care, help and support my dad has been given here has been outstanding. Dad was seen straight away by all the appropriate professionals. I was kept up to date daily on his daily routine's and health needs. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and professional,
I highly recommend the Whitehouse to anyone who is looking for a nursing home. Even though Dad was only there for 2 weeks respite, he was fully involved in all the Christmas activities - the fayre, pantomime, carol service etc.
Thank you all once again for giving my dad the TLC he needed.

Amazing home. Amazing staff. Lovely care home for my Nan knowing someone is there 24/7 round the clock, the care given is 100%, my nan loves her room and has settled here. Her carers are so thoughtful and helpful, nothing is ever too much trouble, everyone works so hard.

I am incredibly grateful for the exceptional care my grandmother receives at The Whitehouse. The staff are not only professional and attentive but also genuinely friendly, compassionate and kind. They go above and beyond to ensure that she feels comfortable and respected. The facilities are always clean
and well-maintained, creating a pleasant and safe environment. The activities and social events are very good. Overall, The Whitehouse has given me peace of mind, knowing that my grandmother is in such good hands. I visited numerous care homes in November 2023 to find a suitable home for my mum. As soon as I entered The Whitehouse I knew it was where I wanted her to be. The care from the staff is excellent. Whitehouse Care Home has such a lovely family feel to it. The manager, deputy manager and all the staff take very good care of my father-in-law. Nothing is too much trouble and they hold regular activities, including days out for the residents. It’s peace of mind to know that they are only a phone call

Friendly staff.

My sister received excellent care in the home. The staff went above and beyond all our expectations. They also looked after us as a family and no requests we made were too much trouble. Social activities played a big part and everyone was encouraged to take part if they could. The food was excellent

My Mother has lived at the home for over 18 months. The care she receives daily is so good. All staff are caring, friendly and helpful. Mum is so well looked after in the Whitehouse...During her working life, she was a Domestic Superintendent at a top-rated hospital, she still has all her faculties and praises the staff frequently for their care and standards. From my point of view, I think the staff go the extra mile, engaging with
residents, entertaining them, and looking after them. The premises are always clean bright and welcoming, and the food looks and smells delicious. Having recently been poorly myself and unable to visit as often it is a huge relief to know Mum is being so well looked after and is so happy.

I have visited this establishment for many years as a Paramedic.
The staff are super friendly, and caring and most of all show a great deal of empathy and support for their residents.
It is spotlessly clean. The residents' rooms are warm and have lots of their own personal items.
The food has always
been of an impressive standard and of course, they make a cracking cup of tea!
The manager has been there for years and both she and her staff treat the residents as part of their own family!

Mum moved into The Whitehouse at the end of October after being diagnosed with mixed Dementia. I must admit I was nervous about how she would adapt as she had lived in her own home for over 50 years and was always fiercely independent. I needn't worry! She settled in amazingly quickly, something I attribute
to the kind and caring staff and the general homely and welcoming atmosphere that you feel as soon as you walk through the door.

I have visited my friend at Whitehouse for nearly a year. She's always happy when I see her. The staff are amazing. The love and care they provide is 100%. My friend was put on end-of-life care back in January, however she got better and is now back to herself. I'm sure the care from staff brought her
back. Fantastic care home.
