The Whitehouse is a warm, welcoming environment the staff are kind and caring, and Mum is very happy and well cared for. Mum is always kept clean and tidy, she is listened to. The home is clean and well maintained the residents are treated like one big family.

The manager, Deb bent over backwards to help us arrange transport for Mum for an urgent operation in hospital. We can't thank her enough.

Since Mum has moved into the Whitehouse her well being has had a positive impact, her capacity has declined and she still needs additional prompts for her personal care.
Since moving she had become more socially engaging and is interacting well with staff and (patients) residents helping in reducing isolation. Staff are kind respectful and attentive and approachable.

Knowing shes is safe gives family reassurance and peace of mind. Debbie the manager is amazing helpful caring and supportive.

First let me say that although my mother is physically quite frail, she has full capacity and continues to make her own decisions - including where she lives.
After an extended period spent in hospital, my mother moved into The White House with a view to permanent care.
Initially, mother was rather nervous and insecure. However, these feelings soon changed to feelings of beeing safe, cared for and being valued as an individual. Mother is not slow in voicing her opinions and staff always respond positively to her wishes. No matter how busy staff are, they always respond with a smile and kindness. This includes the Home Manager and her admin, who are so generous with their time.
Throughout the environment, there is evidence of good practice. This includes visual prompts/displays to promote understanding.
Whenever I visit my mother, she is usually engaged in some social activity, which has had a positive effect on her emotional wellbeing.

I am so grateful that mother enjoys such care.

Dad now having been in the Whitehouse, Wrexham for 10 months. In all this time, the quality of his care continues to be exceptional. All I can do is to add to my comments of last June, which are still absolutely relevant. The entire staff do their very, very best for him. Any concerns I may have for my almost 101 year old Dad, I feel comfortable communicating to the staff who never fail to act upon them. They are equally up front and honest with me regarding every aspect of Dad's care.
I am always made to feel welcome and part of the Whitehouse family and I am able to enjoy some of the many fun activities that are organised for the residents and their loved ones.

The Whitehouse is Dad's home, a place of well-being, safety and familiarity where Dad trusts the team around him. Knowing that Dad is so well cared for by such brilliant professionals gives me enormous peace of mind.

We met with the manager at mums home when it was decided that mum needed immediate respite care due to loss of mobility due to meds change. This was organised quickly. The staff where very welcoming and put us at our ease. Mum was very happy with the level of care she received from all the care staff, and soon started to feel better. I would definitely recommend The Whitehouse and hope and hope that if needed again they have availability.

The care my mother has received is excellent. The staff are so patient and caring in what can sometimes be difficult circumstances. I am not there at mealtimes but Mum tells me the food is good. There is always someone on hand in the office to discuss any concerns.

The manager and staff are absolutely amazing. The care, help and support my dad has been given here has been outstanding. Dad was seen straight away by all the appropriate professionals. I was kept up to date daily on his daily routine's and health needs. Everyone is so friendly, helpful and professional, I highly recommend the Whitehouse to anyone who is looking for a nursing home. Even though Dad was only there for 2 weeks respite, he was fully involved in all the Christmas activities - the fayre, pantomime, carol service etc.

Thank you all once again for giving my dad the TLC he needed.

I visited numerous care homes in November 2023 to find a suitable home for my mum. As soon as I entered The Whitehouse I knew it was where I wanted her to be. The care from the staff is excellent. It really is a very special place. There is a homely atmosphere as soon as you enter, and the residents are stimulated and cared for and are extremely well looked after.

Whitehouse Care Home has such a lovely family feel to it. The manager, deputy manager and all the staff take very good care of my father-in-law. Nothing is too much trouble and they hold regular activities, including days out for the residents. It’s peace of mind to know that they are only a phone call away and regularly keep us updated. They are professional whilst empathetic and caring towards all residents and their families.
