On arrival, the welcome was very warm and friendly. I had bought my dog who was made equally welcome and who quickly settled in. The food was as good as anticipated and personal requests were granted. The staff care is exceptional, I call them the "Dream Team". A couple provided entertainment of Country and Western singing led by guitars, one resident danced to the music, others clapped most enjoyable.

Mum's second year and she is as happy as ever. Needed emergency treatment whilst I was on holiday and staff accompanied her to hospital, stayed with her until my brother arrived, then got two buses and a train home. Over and above expectations. Marvellous staff/management/care.

My father went to Bryn Eithin in August of this year. His main concerns were finding a home that was clean and with good food. Full marks for both of them! Dad settled in well and told me recently they are kind. Welsh is spoken by a number of staff and the atmosphere is homely.

The staff at Bryn Eithin are very hardworking and do their best to accommodate any requests my Aunt makes. My Aunt doesn't join in any of the activities but I know there is a variety of events to keep the residents entertained. The food is excellent and served to the residents' requirements.

Overall Experience

I have known Bryn Eithin for about two years now since my friend became a resident. She seems very well looked after, well dressed, clean, well-fed and looked after in every way. When there is a health problem, the doctor or dentist has been called. She says she is very happy and that all the carers and staff are very friendly and helpful.
