The care at The Daffodils is top notch my mum loves the girls and is very happy here.

The staff are very helpful and friendly they do an amazing job looking after my grandmother. I couldn't be happier.

I am extremely pleased with the way in which all staff interact with my mother. She has several problems, including vascular dementia, severe hearing loss and poor eyesight. She can no longer watch TV, enjoy reading or doing puzzles but the staff go out of their way to try to involve her in whatever is going on. They are aware of her preferences foodwise and ensure she eats and drinks well. She is treated by all with great care, dignity and respect. Her room is always clean and tidy and her personal hygiene is well looked after. Our family is always warmly welcomed whenever visiting.

I’m so happy with the care that my mother has received in The Daffodils over the last few years. The staff are so caring, and I can see that they have a genuine bond with my mother. Whenever I visit my mother, she always looks happy and appears to be looking younger rather than older, she has a wonderful rapport with all of the staff, and I wouldn’t want her to be anywhere else.

The home continues excellent care in all aspects. We would highly recommend this home to any future potential residents.

My sister has been in the home for approximately five years and the service she has had has been wonderful. I had nothing to complain about her care as it's been wonderful and the staff exemplary. they have put a few years of life into my sister, her nursing is wonderful.

The care is excellent in all aspects. The nurses are wonderful. They are so kind and ae empathetic and very caring. They all have a real sense of humour, which I feel is so important within the care setting. Everyone is so welcoming. The standard of cleanliness and food is second to none. My mother-in-law is very happy and contented, which in turn reassures us as a family.

The Daffodils Care Home and staff have been brilliant throughout the pandemic, keeping us informed of Mams wellbeing. Letting us speak to her on the phone, as well as setting the portal so that we can see and speak to her. They have taken good care of her, she is looking really well. This has been a terrible time for the family, not being able to visit her, but made bearable by the fact that she is safe and well. Many thanks from all the family.

I have found The Daffodils Care Home to be both friendly and very efficient. All the staff are very easy to communicate with, and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. They show kindness to the residents and treat them with care and dignity. I would recommend The Daffodils to anyone facing the difficult position of placing a loved one in a care home.

My elderly mother's situation both physically and mentally has worsened during the pandemic and we were placed in the situation of having to choose a care home for her. We chose The Daffodils as when she visited a friend previously she commented on how good it was. The care my mother has received at The Daffodils has been excellent. The staff have really gone that 'extra mile' to help her settle. The staff have been exceptional, especially during these difficult times. They are very professional and keep us updated with any concerns or issues, and we feel well informed. Whilst we are currently unable to visit the staff without exception keep us informed and talk with genuine care and compassion. Whenever we ring they always have time to talk and when necessary reassure. I have every confidence in their ability to care for my mother as her dementia worsens. We are confident that we made the right decision.

My Gran has thrived in Daffodils, and knowing the staff care and look after her so well is a massive weight off my mind, I would, and I do, highly recommend Daffodils to anyone who finds themselves needing a caring home that will do its best by its residents. Myself and my family are so happy we chose Daffodils for Nana.

The continuity of care is excellent, staff go out of their way to make it a very homely atmosphere. The support and care that has been given to my mother has exceeded our family's expectations.

My father has been a resident since 2007 and I had, and still have, the utmost confidence in the staff and facilities at the Home. The care he has received, particularly as his health and dementia has worsened, is of the highest standard at all times. He is looked after with great care, respect and dignity and, if I may say, is loved by the staff. Nothing is too much trouble for them and the family are kept well informed. Staff are extremely welcoming and friendly and go that extra mile to ensure residents are happy and supported. We have no worries about the care that Dad receives and we are extremely grateful for everything they do for him.

My mother has been a resident in Daffodils for the past two months, during which time she has been treated with the utmost care and attention. As a relative, I have found the care home staff extremely kind and respectful, and provide up to date information on my mother whenever I visit the home. I feel very welcome in the home and despite the short period of time my mother has been a resident, and her deteriorating health, it does feel like my mothers home. From the manager down to all staff involved in my mothers care the care is of a very high standard.

Everything is geared to the patient's care and security.

The overall standard of care and support of the residents are superb, always on hand to offer assistance in any way for the needs of the residents. Meals and snacks are available at given times and the cleanliness and safety and security of the premises are excellent.

I am pleased with the way the staff treat my Mum. Everyone is very kind and supportive to her and myself. My Mum seems very settled there and feels safe, which in turn helps me.

He loves it here, as his dementia increases, we as a family have every confidence that Dad's care will be of the optimum standard.
