We have used this care home twice for my Mother for respite and I can say that the welcome and the work the manager and staff do is excellent. They spend so much time caring for the residents and there is nothing that they won't do to make Mother's stay at the home so comfortable. Me and my family have appreciated all they do for their residents. We were shown around, explained everything beforehand and all our questions answered. They have been very helpful and will be using this home again in the near future. Big thanks.
On visiting my brother on several occasions, I have found it to be very pleasant. The staff are very pleasant and professional too. My brother is very happy in his surroundings and we are happy he is somewhere very caring.
My father has been looked after extremely well. The care he receives is really good. At this moment in time, I have extreme confidence in the way he is looked after.
They all go the extra mile in looking after my mother and all the other residents in this care home.
Just to say once again that I'm very impressed and would recommend this care home.

My partner is treated with the greatest respect and dignity and when I visit him three times a week the staff are courteous and very friendly second to none.
Every time I call to see my grandmother the staff are extremely welcoming and warm. Happy the home is always clean, tidy and the atmosphere is very good. The residents are always cared for, clean and tidy they are in their appearance. I look forward to visiting the home. I am very happy with the care my grandmother is receiving. Thank you very much for all your efforts.
Very competent staff and friendly, nothing too much trouble, facilities always clean and tidy. No complaint about food or facilities from my Mother. Staff very proud of the care home. I or my family are never afraid to ask any questions and they are always answered. We feel very lucky to have found this gem of a care home in our time of difficulty in our lives. Mum has not said anything negative, she's always said this is her 'new home' and that speaks volumes coming from my Mother.
The care my mother receives is of the very best standard. She is looked after with great care, respect and dignity in a very safe and secure environment where she is very happy. All the staff show the greatest of care and respect to all the residents.
When I arrive two days a week nothing is too much for them to give you what you want.
There is a varied menu and good food, they try their best to accommodate all residents.
Sociability is excellent, there are special events for all birthdays, Christmas and bank holidays.
There are accompanied trips to hospital, hairdressers etc.
Provisions for end of life care are absolutely wonderful.
The manager is fully hands on and is the jewel in the crown of the home.
We are very pleased with the care that is being provided and all the staff, without exception, have been excellent.
The food is very good and the accommodation is very comfortable. Each occupant has their own room and there is a communal lounge and restaurant are where the personnel are able to gather each day for friendship and enjoy their meals together.
Staff are very caring and every effort to please is made, overall a reasonable place to stay.
My mother moved to Daffodils in May 2012 and settled in almost immediately. The staff are marvellous and the home is always clean and tidy. Interaction between staff and residents is meaningful and caring, there is a choice of menu at meal times where nutritious home cooked food is provided. My mother had a heart attack recently resulting in a rapid decline in health which now requires the need for an EMI nursing home placement which unfortunately cannot be provided at Daffodils. My mother had a happy time whilst at Daffodils and I would recommend this home to anyone looking for a caring environment for their loved one.
