My aunt has only been in Kintyre House for approximately three weeks, but she has settled in very well.
She raves about the staff, the food and the activities.
It is very reassuring to know how happy, comfortable and safe she is.

Her personal and medical care appear to be well looked after also.

My mother stayed in Kintyre House for the last 2months of her life. She was frail and very dependent on help. Her eyesight was also very poor. On several visits to Kintyre House, I witnessed the unfailing patience, cheerfulness and professional care of the staff at first hand.

Every one of the staff was genuinely caring and gave appropriate support both to my mother and to me (both before and after her death). I am very happy to recommend Kintyre House to others.

Visited Kintyre House yesterday to see a friends mum.
The minute I walked in I knew this place was all about the residents.
Lovely personal bits on walls, so homely I could not believe it.
Had met manager before as she had visited friends mum in hospital.
Having worked myself in a care home for 26 years I think I know what a good care home feels like.
This place gives residents 110 per cent, never seen so many happy workers in one place, they were amazing.

Keep up the good work Kintyre one very happy visitor.

I am extremely impressed with the care my mother receives, especially the instant medical attention when required. My only small reservation is that not all staff realise how poor mother's comprehension is: she is an expert in disguising the fact. On entering the building one can sense that this is a happy place with contented staff and management.

The care my Mother in Law received from staff at Kintyre was 5 star, from the first meeting in the hospital to the day she died. Staff were caring, fun and dedicated and made her final months the very best she could have had. I would highly recommend Kintyre to anyone.

When new residents move in, Rita is outside to welcome them as they arrive, helping their loved ones with the bags and settling them into their new bedroom.
