Mull Hall has had an impressive refurbishment with some wonderful spaces for the residents to enjoy. As well as the lounges, there is a new conservatory which is a wonderful space to relax with loved ones, who are welcome at any time. In the dining room, residents enjoy delicious, home-cooked meals from a menu which is very much tailored to the home, from roast dinners with all the trimmings to freshly baked cakes for afternoon tea.

With views over the stunning Cromarty Firth, the home is in a beautiful rural location. And outside, there is a children’s play area in the large gardens. During the summer the residents loved growing their own herbs in the garden for the chef to use in the kitchen.   

The staff are passionate about residents playing a very active role in how their home is run, from choosing the décor to providing feedback on everything from the activities to the menu.

Many of the team, including the home manager, have been with the home for over ten years, giving Mull Hall that warm, family feel. Two of the team have won National Care Awards for their devotion to enriching the lives of their residents.

The home is thriving, with so many activities to enjoy and trips out in the minibus to places the residents love to visit. From pub lunches, barge trips and community lunch clubs, to church visits, shopping and garden centres.

School children regularly pop in, treating the residents to musical performances, and a mobile hairdresser visits for appointments in the home's salon. There is a monthly church service in the home, and regular animal visits with Therapet. And the home also has two pet rabbits, Jack and Victor!

And there is a private family and friends Facebook page, where loved ones can see what the residents have been enjoying doing, even if they can’t be there in person.

My mum is not able to participate in activities the same now but she is included in events happening in the lounge.
The staff are all very pleasant and work hard. Mull Hall is always a happy welcoming place.

I cannot praise this team highly enough. Every single member of staff in absolutely every area of work gives such care, love, assurance and understanding to each and every resident. More than that, the consideration, friendship and thoughtfulness to family members is second to none. Mum has been unwell
over Christmas and New Year so we shared Hogmanay with her in her room. We witnessed elderly people having such fun - singing, enjoying drinks and snacks whilst wishing each other Happy New Year! We will book in next year!

Mull Hall is a welcoming place with happy friendly staff. Any problems or concerns you have, they try their best to sort. They are always open to suggestions to help make it better. The management is nice and relaxed so you don’t feel intimidated to say something.

I cannot fault the staff at Mull Hall. They have gone above and beyond to help my mum settle into the home and are always very welcoming. It has been a very hard time adjusting to her loss of independence but the staff have made it so easy.

I cannot thank Mull Hall Care Home staff enough for caring for my mother in the last year. Activities and outings are excellent. Mother's Day was wonderful with the pampering we got even my husband got a facial! It puts my mind at ease to see she is well cared for by all the staff who are all so positive

My mother moved to Mull Hall at the end of March. Her dementia was creating growing risks for living alone at home. Nonetheless, she was reluctant to give up her independence. As a result, contemplation of the move was very stressful for us both. Now, 7 weeks on, she's well settled, very well cared
for and enjoys participating in the many activities that are on offer. I believe that her life is much improved.
We were allowed to replace the room contents with her own furniture. In fact, they even sent their van to pick it up. This made an enormous difference, making the room feel more like home. I soon found out that this degree of kindness and consideration is standard at Mull Hall. It's displayed by all of the team every day. The more I see, the more impressed I am. The care is first class, the home is well-organised and there's always some activity on offer. Everybody is so kind and caring. The experience so far has been truly excellent. Well done and thanks to all.

Our friend is a new resident who lost her mobility due to a fall and was months in hospital before coming to Mull Hall. Within a week they had her standing and moving to her wheelchair. I am told they are also having her hearing and eyesight checked and she had her hair permed this week.
The staff
are brilliant and have done a lot to help her settle in. Nothing is too much trouble. Visitors are welcomed as friends and we love this because it makes us feel part of the happy gang. Our friend looks happier than I have seen her for months. She is accepted for herself and hopefully will become more mobile as she settles into Mull Hall's happy atmosphere.

Had an absolutely amazing afternoon with mum on Saturday. Staff in Mull Hall Care Home set up a pamper room for a Mother's Day experience. Nails, facials, pedicures, massage - what more could you ask for? Well, there was also prosecco (non-alcoholic if preferred) nibbles, bite-size bakes and chocs.
Best of all was the chat and banter! To top it all - mum was asked to choose a bunch of flowers to give to me. This made her so happy as she has always been a giver. Well done Mull Hall for all your efforts and giving me and mum another fantastic experience together

My mother-in-law spent the last 14 months in Mull Hall Care Home. During her time there, the staff were absolutely brilliant in the care she received. We can't commend them highly enough. We also felt we were part of the Mull Hall family. Nothing was any bother to the staff no matter what it was she
required. Sadly she passed away recently and the care she received in her final days was unbelievable. The staff could not do enough for us as a family during that difficult time. I will carry the love she received from them all with me always. The manager and her team are one in a million. It takes special people to make a special place and Mull Hall is one of those special places. Thank you.

My mam has been in Mull Hall Care Home for over three years. I cannot speak highly enough of the care and attention that Mam had in that time. The manager and staff are excellent and cannot do enough for you. Their love, care and attention to Mam is second to none, to us, as a family, they really make
us feel welcome and nothing is too much trouble, I feel that I can just come and go as I please to see Mam (just like when she was at home) and feel a part of the Mull Hall family. Mull Hall guided us all through Covid beautifully with great communication throughout. Mam and family had a lovely time at Christmas and New Year, the manager and staff gave us all a lovely time and so many laughs. Mam also had a special birthday in January and again the staff pulled out all the stops to make it special for Mam and all the family. Mam is happy, content and well cared for. Would highly recommend Mull Hall to anyone. It truly is a special place.

My mam moved into Mull Hall in October this year. From the day she moved in, she has been treated with the utmost respect and care. My mam has been unwell a couple of times, and each time I have been kept informed as to what was wrong and then phoned me to let me know when the doctor had been. I'm so
glad I followed my instincts and put her on the waiting list at Mull Hall; all the staff are so caring and kind and are constantly on the go. My mam is so happy and content there, and we, as a family, are more than happy with all the care and attention she receives couldn't ask for anything more.

My husband has been a long-term resident of Mull Hall since December 2020 when his physical condition made it impossible for me to continue caring for him at home.
I was delighted a place was quickly found for him at Mull Hall which had been highly recommended by friends and his local daily carers.
He and I quickly became members of a new family despite the restrictions of lock-down throughout the protracted Covid emergency.
All the staff at Mull Hall, both caring and management, care deeply about the well-being of residents and their families and friends who visit. They are always cheerful, positive and have a sunny "can-do" attitude. Nothing is too much trouble. The activities and trips out in the mini-bus are well-planned and fun. It has been discovered that my husband can sing despite being unable to speak - he enjoys this tremendously.
I am also impressed by the standard of medical care which is built on a strong relationship with the local GP Practice.

Sophie joined Mull Hall as a care assistant in 2020 and from the moment she arrived she devoted her life to the home, getting to know her residents as if they were members of her own family so that she can provide truly enriching person-centred care.
