Since Ann and Deputy Manager Alison took over running Kincaid House, I feel the home has improved way beyond how it was prior to that date. My mum, Jean, has been in Kincaid since 2019. A few managers have been in charge along the way, but none who do the job currently being done. The carers, particularly Elisha, take great care of my mum. They contact me, if necessary, and are always willing to chat, keep me updated! Activity team and office staff (Pauline/Maggie) great too. Well done!
Staff have been amazing, supporting us with our much loved mum has been a huge relief to the family. All the staff are so friendly and always welcoming. Nursing staff have always kept me informed about my mum. Mum has visited the hairdresser Angie a few times and she has been great as my mum has a fear of water when getting her hair washed, puts on her favourite music for her to keep her calm. Activities staff are great and organise so many fun things to keep residents entertained.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share this. We're really pleased to hear how supported your family has felt and that your mum has been so well cared for. It's lovely to hear your kind words about our colleagues, from the nursing team keeping you informed to Angie in the salon, taking such...
The review was carried out in an excellent and compassionate manner and all aspects of our care covered.

Your feedback means a lot to us and will be shared with the whole team, who work hard every day to ensure every resident and family feels supported and valued.
My uncle has really settled in well. Staff have looked after him to the extreme, best care ever. So happy he is here and this is now his home.

My dad has only just come into the care home 6 weeks ago & he has settled in extremely well. He is a different person & has come right out of his shell. He has been receiving the best of care & I am happy that we chose this place as it's nice, welcoming, and the staff are extremely friendly. I am so happy he's happy here & settled very well.
Thank you so much for your kind words. We're truly delighted to hear how well your dad has settled in at Kincaid House - it means the world to us. Seeing him come out of his shell and thrive is exactly what we hope for every day. We're so pleased he feels at home here, and we'll continue to support him with the care and warmth he deserves.
My husband is well looked after. The staff are caring and professional. Yet, I have an issue with the regular swapping around of the staff. They get moved to other floors, when they do an excellent job on my husband's floor. It takes a lot of time to entrust someone new and for them to get to know the resident's needs and what makes them comfortable. I do not see anything beneficial in this practice.
Kincaid is a beautiful care home, very well-kept, and the staff are always very approachable and accommodating. They go above and beyond for residents as if they were part of their own family. They always have plenty of activities and outings to keep the residents busy and happy. My grandmother went in after having a stroke, and we had no idea what the future held for her; however, the care and support she has received has made a life-changing difference, and our family is extremely thankful.

The care, nursing, activities teams work hard and care very much! Dad so much happier living here. And we can relax and enjoy visiting him now.
