Strathtay House Care Home, situated in lovely residential area of Perth, supports older people to lead their best lives with personalised residential and residential dementia care.

This friendly home offers many fantastic amenities which include a lovely garden which is tended by residents, an on-site hair salon and pretty patio area.

We always find all the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Any requests or enquirers are responded to very quickly. I find the care home to be very tidy any time I visit, as do other visiting relatives.

My wife and I have been visiting Strathtay House Care Home on and off for about 5 years. We have always been treated kindly and helpfully for all this time. Our relations who live in the home are also treated kindly and helpfully by the staff. Our relation like living in the home. Strathtay deserve

Our mother has been a resident since May 2024 and has thrived due to the excellent care and attention given to her by the staff here. She has a lovely room and tells us often how comfortable she feels and how wonderful the food is. Staff are helpful and nothing too much trouble for them. Overall we

Since mum has been in Strathtay House Care Home, we as a family have been delighted with her care. Mum's room is lovely and very homely. The warmth, friendliness and professionalism of the staff shines through and my uncle is so well cared for in every way. We feel very welcome by all members of staff when we visit and appreciate all they do for my uncle and all the other residents. The atmosphere is so happy here it is just wonderful

The care home is wonderful, the manager and her team provide excellent care for our 94-year-old father who was struggling at home but is now safe, content and very happy. If he has any medical problems they are dealt with, with care and understanding. Dad is very happy living out his years at Stathtay

Job Title: Home Manager

“For me, kind care is putting our Resident’s wishes, feelings and preferences at the heart of everything we do.”


As a dedicated healthcare professional, Gina has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.


Having worked with HC-One since 2004, Gina closely shares the company’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.


When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Gina remarked:


“I love working hard to create a welcoming home for our Residents and a positive working environment for our team.”


Gina moved to the UK sixteen years ago and feels like Scotland is her home now but very is proud to have provided a good life for her family in the Philippines. In her spare time, Gina likes to keep busy travelling, walking, hiking, swimming and going out with friends.
