My mother was hospitalised for 2 weeks with pneumonia and her lymphedema. On her return to Strathtay, she required a greater than usual awareness of her condition ie encouragement to eat and drink, close monitoring and treatment of her lymphedema and increased support in moving around. The staff were very attentive to her increased needs and she is much improved in mobility, appetite, lymphedema and "looks" herself again.

Due to health reasons, I have not been up for a while. Spoke to my sister the other day and I asked her if she was still enjoying it. Her reply was "yes". Everybody is good. Nurses and staff are very good and food is lovely. What more can you ask for?

I am so lucky my mother managed to secure placement in Strathtay House a credit to all the staff and manager, well done Strathtay House.

As a dedicated healthcare professional, Gina has gained a wealth of experience in providing care and nursing support to elderly people, to enrich their lives. She is a knowledgeable leader who is passionate about delivering the highest standards in care and quality of life for Residents.
Having worked with HC-One since 2004, Gina closely shares the company’s vision in aiming to provide the kindest care for each and every Resident. She extends this caring approach to her Colleagues and works closely with them to deliver care and support to Residents in a way that they gain the most benefit, in a warm and welcoming home.
When asked what she enjoys most about her role, Gina remarked:
“I love working hard to create a welcoming home for our Residents and a positive working environment for our team.”
Gina moved to the UK sixteen years ago and feels like Scotland is her home now but very is proud to have provided a good life for her family in the Philippines. In her spare time, Gina likes to keep busy travelling, walking, hiking, swimming and going out with friends.
