The move has provided major relief for us the family - we know that she is now monitored and offered food and drink on a regular basis and a friendly chat when needed.
The level of cleanliness is exceptional , an extremely important feature for mum, and she enjoys the food.
We are very happy with our decision to move mum into Glenalina and we have enjoyed good communication opportunities with the lovely Manager.
We hope mum has a long and happy stay there with her new found chums.
Thank you to all at Glenalina Lodge
I came into Glenalina unexpectedly after an incident with my house. I have been treated with utmost respect and dignity and I have no complaints about the care I have received. I would recommend Glenalina to anyone looking for care.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave a review for us. I am delighted that we were able to assist you at a difficult time in your life and we love having you here in Glenalina!
Just sitting with my mum in her room at Glenalina chatting about how much we both appreciate the staff here, so we thought we'd put it in a review. Mum loves that they're so attentive and take time to have fun with her. She says nothing is too much trouble. I love it that I know they're looking out for her and have been really quick to notice if she needs extra help or medical care. They're genuine people who show real interest and affection to my mum and that makes a huge difference. She has settled in really well and I can understand why.
Thank you very much for your beautiful words. At Glenalina we always do whatever we can to help and support families. We enjoy the company of your mum and also the family circle who visit.
We love Glenalina. It is so comforting to know that our mum is well looked after by staff who are patient, caring and kind. Our time with Mummy in her later years is very precious. It can be hard at times to see her confused and not completely the woman she was in the past. But there is real warmth in this home between residents and with staff. We have always been made so welcome even in these difficult times. We are very thankful.
Thank you very much for such kind words. We love having your mother here in Glenalina Lodge as she always has lovely stories to tell.
I am so happy with our experience with Glenalina Lodge. My mum has been staying there since August 2021 and she settled so quickly because of the lovely atmosphere and friendly staff. They treat our mum as one of the family and we can come away happy knowing she is so content. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a home from home.
Thank you very much for your kind review and also your thank you card to the home. Having your mum with us at Glenalina Lodge is a pleasure. She is one of the family and the stories that she tells us certainly brighten up the day.
I cannot thank the Glenalina Lodge staff enough for the care they have given my son since he moved there in late October after being in hospital since March 2021. My family and I were unsure how he would settle but we needn't have worried. The staff are warm, caring and welcoming. They are the salt of the earth. I witnessed the kindness, patience and the reassuring way they spoke with the residents and answered their questions no matter how many times the same one was asked and my son can ask questions galore. Should I ever need residential care Glenalina Lodge would be where I would be happy. The manager is very helpful and informative and he and his staff have made my son's stay there easier for him. The next step to recovery for my son starts soon and he is sad to be leaving the staff behind. I cannot speak highly enough of this Care Lodge - they can be proud of their work.
It was an absolute pleasure looking after your son and we would certainly have him back with us should he ever require residential care. Thank you for your kind words and for always being so supportive when any decisions had to be made. We wish you all the best in the future and are welcome to visit any time!
I would like to thank the Glenalina staff for the excellent care my father has received during the pandemic. The management and staff have been extremely understanding, approachable and flexible towards my family and my father's needs. Glenalina staff made sure his medical needs, physical need a and his emotional needs were met to a high standard.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us a review. We have enjoyed the company of your father and he definitely brightens up our days with his character!
My brother has needed tailored care in the last few months. I have found the staff at Glenalina extremely accommodating to his needs and have kept me up to speed sometimes on a daily basis, this has enabled me to give constructive feedback to his wider care group enabling a stronger more individual approach to his care.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us such a kind review. We value such kind words and will always do what we can to assist yourself and your brother within Glenalina Lodge.
I feel the staff at this home are very good and I also like doing activities with them and I like colouring in with them. Most of all I tell the staff good jokes and it makes them happy for all they do is laugh at them because they say that they are funny. Before I let this go they are 100% very good people.
Thank you very much for taking the time to complete a review card for Glenalina Lodge. We do enjoy your daily jokes that you share with the staff!
Very safe. Rooms are spotless and staff are very kind. Food is excellent.
Thank you very much for taking the time to complete a review card for ourselves at Glenalina. Your words are very much appreciated and very kind.
My 97-year-old mother-in-law needed a period of respite after being in hospital and we were drawn to Glenalina Lodge because it looked so inviting and also had a large number of fantastic reviews. I contacted the home and the manager immediately went out of his way to accommodate us, changing rooms around to ensure our needs were met, leading to my mother-in-law being warmly welcomed earlier this week to Glenalina. It has been an anxious time for all of us but the staff have been so friendly, caring and professional, while also bringing a personal and reassuring touch that makes all the difference when a family member is staying somewhere unfamiliar. The en-suite room is bright, clean and well furnished, the dining room is lovely and provides a range of nourishing meals, the social area offers a programme of different activities and there's a lovely garden terrace area to sit in the warmer weather. Glenalina Lodge is a wonderful place and we can't thank the staff enough for everything.
Thank you so much for taking the time to write us such a lovely and kind review. We have enjoyed the time your Mother-in-law has been with us and are very much looking forward to her soon to be 98th Birthday!
My friend arrived at Glenalina recently and has received fantastic care since the beginning. They have been supported through their daily living within the home and I cannot say a bad word about Glenalina. The admin has been very supportive throughout, assisting me with documentation. My friend has settled in very well and is enjoying the daily activities within the home.

All staff very helpful. Food fine (no concerns). Any concerns that I would have, the staff would always help as best as they could.

I am extremely happy that my friend is so well cared for in Glenalina Lodge. It is home from home for her, and I can relax knowing she is cared for by genuinely caring staff who know the residents well and meet all identified needs. There are activities daily which my friend loves. The home is comfortable, and the food always looks appetising. Staff always notify me if there is the slightest concern, which is very reassuring. Thank you all.
Thank you so much for such kind words! Your friend has been with us for a number of years now, and we really enjoy her company! She really enjoys taking part in activities and always has such beautiful songs to share with us!
I think it is absolutely marvellous. I have had no problems since I have been here.

My mother has done very well at Glenalina. She is happy and often says how kind the staff are. The team have been very good at allowing free access to phone calls from family during this difficult lockdown period. It has been important to stay in contact.

I have been extremely happy with everything in regard to the care I received within Glenalina Lodge. The food that is provided is excellent. I would highly recommend this service to anyone who would require extra help.

My mum has been in Glenalina Lodge for the past year and it has been fantastic for her. The staff are very attentive and she just loves it. She never spends time in her room as she enjoys the company from the residences and staff. My mum looks really well and she just loves the food as well. My mum can’t say enough things about the staff as they are very kind and loving. When I ring her she can’t get off the phone quick enough as she’s afraid to miss something. We as a family are very happy we picked Genalina as my mum has flourished and we are content knowing she is safe and happy.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us such kind words. Your mum is the life and soul of Glenalina and we love having her here.
My brother entered Glenalina Lodge care home in 2020 and from the moment he stepped inside he was treated with the utmost care and attention. Before lockdown I was able to see for myself how efficient the whole home was being organised from the bottom to the top. The management, the staff, the catering facilities were on a par with any top hotel you wish to name. I have every confidence in the way my brother's care package is being handled.
Thank you very much for taking the time to leave us such a kind review for Glenalina.
My mum arrived at Glenalina Lodge in July 2020 until recently when she required hospital admission. Many thanks for all your help and assistance with mum. You will always be in our thoughts and prayers.
