Upon arrival, although the staff were very busy with residents, they took the time to explain everything to me and answer my questions. We were made to feel very welcome. Very bright care home and staff are all caring. Would recommend to others.

My brother had been transferred from the hospital to Glenalina Lodge. I already felt it was the wrong decision that the hospital made as my brother had mental health issues. The transfer went ahead and after a short while, the care manager of Glenalina Lodge said that he felt my brother needed re-assessed.
The manager made all the calls to contacts for this to be done and whilst my brother's stay in Glenalina Lodge was brilliant, I can honestly say the 'duty of care' and understanding my brother received by management and staff was outstanding and I would like this to be recognised.

My brother has been in Glenalina Lodge for 5 months and we have never had a problem with it. All the staff are brilliant with all people in it and their families. It is very clean and well kept and we are very happy with everything.

I come to see my aunt 2-3 times a year from England and I have to say every time I come I found the staff very helpful and pleasant. But this time I came it seemed "exceptional". My auntie looked really well, the place was spotless, the staff very welcoming.

The care in the home is excellent. The staff are helpful and pleasant and the building itself is kept spotlessly clean and bright and cherry.

I have only good comments to write here. My aunt can be quite difficult at times. She is 95 and all of the staff without exception, have been so good and caring with her.

The accommodation is modern and bright. The bedrooms have everything she needs, and the food is excellent.

I would recommend

Glenalina to anyone wishing for excellent care for their relative.

My sister has been in many care homes but this is most definitely the tops. She is very comfortable, happy, well fed and stimulated which is of great important. Activities are displayed daily on a blackboard so that residents are free to join those of interest to them or do their own thing. My sister
has a plot in the garden for growing her own bulbs and flowers. She particularly enjoys arts and crafts and has made many beautiful items which are displayed.

Glenalina is a very special place with the most amazing staff, from the cleaners, kitchen staff, chef, carers to the manageress. They are all amazing. The home is spotlessly clean, well equipped and as for the food it's proper tasty home cooked food with a good amount of variety. I can not speak highly
enough of Glenalina, it's a very unique home with unique staff. Thank you.

My father sadly passed away on 16th Feb 2016 whilst in the care of the (angels) staff of Glenalina Lodge. His care was excellent and each member of the staff from manager to the ancillary staff went above and beyond the call of duty. This care was afforded to us as a family also. My father was allowed
to have a peaceful and dignified passing by the angels in this care home. Although only in their care for a few months my father was treated as a member of their family. For this i am eternally grateful.

This is a very nice modern building, nice bedrooms for residents. There are many activities for the residents ranging from helping in the garden to painting and making decorations. I would recommend this care home to other people.
