There is too much noise all night, I can not get to sleep every night it happens. Dance over the room, it's not fair on all of us.

All of the staff are very obliging and would always help me out if I need it.
They will always attend when I need them. The chef is very good, and the food is excellent.
I have been in the home for 4-years.
I have a good friendship here with another resident, and the staff support my friend.

My brother requires care which is individual to him based on his background, behaviour and medical needs. The team at Glenalina have been excellent at meeting his needs by being patient and structured in their approach to his care. The team at Glenalina have a good understanding of his individual needs
and adapt their approach to ensure he feels safe, supported and feels part of the bigger family at Glenalina. The facilities are excellent, the three meals a day are healthy, varied and freshly prepared with residents getting snacks when they need throughout the day, which is great as my brother has individual eating habits. The grounds are well kept and the site is well maintained. The team touch base with us as a family to keep us in the loop, which is reassuring and lets us know our brother is still being cared for to a high standard. I can fully recommend Glenalina as at every stage of my brother's residence; I have witnessed structure, professionalism and care.

My mother has been in Glenalina for approximately 2-years. At the start, we didn’t know how well our mum would settle, yet after just a few weeks she seemed so happy. The activities every day were a huge hit with her, and she quickly got involved with the art projects, some of their lovely work has
been on display in exhibitions in the City centre. She loves music, so she has encouraged the residents to have some singalongs over the years.
There is a wide variation in the age group of residents in Glenalina, and I think that’s a positive thing, she has made friends with lots of people. My mum recently celebrated her 90th birthday, unfortunately, it was during lockdown for the coronavirus but the staff arranged for her to sit by a window and gave us some private time to share with her as a family socially distancing outside.
The home is really well run, safe and the staff are lovely and have really looked after my mum, nursing her back after falls, she back on her feet now.

My brother has been a resident at Glenalina since July 2019. He arrived at a time of great change in his circumstances which presented significant challenges to both his family and the staff at the Lodge. The staff assisted the family in meeting his immediate needs and also engaged in ensuring that
longer terms needs were assessed and appropriately addressed. The family have found the management and staff at the Lodge a great asset in my brother's ongoing care. The accommodation is clean and the common areas well maintained. The catering is excellent, and my brother has reported his happiness with all the facilities at the Lodge. I would like to record my personal satisfaction will all the staff and the arrangements they have put in place for my brother's care.

My father entered Glenalina Lodge in August 2018 and is well-looked after by professional and caring staff who make every effort to ensure that his residency is comfortable and that all his needs are well-catered for. The facilities are uniformly excellent - clean, tidy rooms with bathroom en suite;
activities such as musical afternoons and film screenings, arts, TV rooms and a beautiful garden. All in a very modern building with every convenience.
The staff have gone out of their way to help me with a number of difficult issues, displaying an uncommon compassion and empathy which has made all the difference in my father's transition to residential care.

On arriving at Glenalina Lodge, I was very nervous and apprehensive, within minutes those feelings were diminished and I was welcomed by staff, friendly and happy. I felt really at ease. On being shown my room, I was overwhelmed by the cosy, warm feeling and surprised at the appliances provided (e.g

My uncle was admitted for respite care and possible long-term residency in Glenalina Lodge.
The staff and care manager were absolutely brilliant.
They provided the very highest level and standard of care for my uncle. Further they were very supportive of the whole family at a very difficult time.

The staff were very friendly and caring. Being away from home after a spell in hospital, the environment helped me to heal and make a full recovery. My wife was made to feel welcome at each visit and nothing was too much trouble. I would definitely recommend Glenalina Lodge care centre as a family
home from home.

My visit to the home is usually pleasant.
Recently I've been aware of a great general improvement across the board.
More armchair activities could be a positive possibility.
On one occasion (some time ago) I had a complaint - it certainly was not fully investigated.

My aunt moved into Glenalina Lodge about one year ago after living independently for most of her life.
At first, she found it difficult to settle but due to the care, patience, understanding and support of staff, she has now fitted in well to her new surroundings.
She has a nice room with a view of
the garden.
I consider that Glenalina Lodge gives a good level of care and support to its residents.

The compassion, patience, respect and inclusiveness I have witnessed has left me with no doubt that this is the best place for my brother to live I have no hesitation in recommending this home.
