Aspen Court is bright and cheerful with a lovely garden.
There's always a warm welcome from staff who are pleasant and happy to see visitors.

Residents are shown care, kindness and respect. It gives me peace of mind knowing my husband is settled and well cared for.

I visited the home in the month of June with my friend who's mum is there, I had such a warm friendly welcome from the staff and the manager it was quite overwhelming. The manager had been extremely welcoming and made an effort to come and look for me just to say hi. The residents themselves all look happy and content and my friend has been over the moon regarding the care her mother receives, I would definitely recommend this home.

Different staff, different care. On the whole, good work is carried out but you will come across your husband with dirty, smelly hair or unshaven sometimes. Disappointed how scruffy he is dressed. Always have trouble in the winter, they will put him in shorts, now summer is here, he has long trousers on. Their clothes are never put on straight, always twisted on him and uncomfortable but as I said, different staff.

Both my parents were taken into this care home in May 2016. The care and support they received throughout their stay has been second to none. Nothing has been too much trouble. The staff are very caring people.

My nan reached her 100th birthday last month in the home and the activities coordinators really did a wonderful party for her. They went the extra mile for her and even did the entertainment for her themselves.

The kitchen staff laid on a lovely food spread for her family and other residents. My nan felt so special and had a wonderful time. Thanks to them both for making her day very special. Thank you, Aspen Court and your wonderful staff.

I was very impressed, the staff were always very thoughtful. My mother was very poorly. She was looked after all the time. They were always checking to make sure we were happy. I feel my mum was looked after. If we needed anything, they were there. If we were worried about anything, they would answer any questions. Lovely staff.

I was a visitor to this care home. The staff always appeared to be very caring and treated both the residents and visitors with respect. Residents and the rooms were always clean and I was always offered a cup of tea which after a long journey was always welcome.

I can't thank the staff for all the compassion that they show my mother from the cleaners to the management. They do well in all they do at Aspen Court. I'm so glad that we picked this care home for their understanding of dementia. I know my mother is in safe hands. They are always willing to talk if you have problems and will help to resolve any issues you may have.

Since our mum became a resident 6 weeks ago we cannot find fault with the standard of care provided. The staff are friendly, caring, very approachable and mum seems happy and settled. This gives us great peace of mind knowing she is being well cared for and treated with respect.

Really have found our experience to be pleasant.
No one likes their parents to go into care but it's comforting for me to know she is in a clean, modern and friendly environment whilst still having the specialists on hand to provide the necessary care and treatment.

Well done.

Mum has been in this home for three months and has been treated with the dignity a person of her age should be treated. Mum was bedridden the first three weeks at the home, but since then she has been out of bed on a daily basis even though she is in a wheelchair.

Our family was initially very concerned about placing my grandmother in a care facility after she had a stroke. However, after visiting her almost every day, we could see she was receiving the care and attention she needed.
Whilst my grandmother was only at Aspen Court for two weeks before she passed away, I can honestly say she was treated with respect, compassion and kindness.
The staff seemed very attentive and caring (the latter of those two is perhaps the most important)

Many thanks to all the staff who looked after her during her brief stay.

I visit Aspen Court Care Home almost every Friday and work with the Activity Manager and other members of staff. I have been visiting for nearly 10 years. I want to say how impressed I continue to be with the care given to residents and the genuine efforts made to provide a stimulating environment. The staff are very kind and caring and really professional. I would be happy to be a resident in Aspen Court Care Home.
