Thank you for your comments particularly regarding the kindness of the staff. The number of staff on each unit is determined by the care needs of the Residents at the time and staffing is flexed accordingly to ensure all Residents are treated with dignity and respect. Recruitment is underway to fill current clinical and care vacancies and we have two enthusiastic Well Being activities co-ordinators who tailor the activities to suit the Residents in the home. There is a robust Housekeeping team along with the Maintenance staff who keep the physical outlook of the home in good condition and Residents are made to feel safe and secure in the home. I hope this has addressed your concerns. Please feel free to come in and see me at the Home if you have any further concerns.
My mum is well cared for she is happier than where she was before. I find that she has changed for the better, more in control, well looked after.

I visited the home in the month of June with my friend who's mum is there, I had such a warm friendly welcome from the staff and the manager it was quite overwhelming. The manager had been extremely welcoming and made an effort to come and look for me just to say hi. The residents themselves all look happy and content and my friend has been over the moon regarding the care her mother receives, I would definitely recommend this home.

I’m sorry to hear about your concerns and would like to take this opportunity to apologise for any distress caused. Following your review, I have completed an investigation which involved meeting with all the staff team to remind them of the need for delivering the highest standard of care possible. I will be monitoring this also during my daily walk around.
We have recently had enhanced support with a robust recruitment drive due to a number of staff vacancies and are really pleased that we have been able to make our care team stronger. Please do come and see me when you next visit the home.

Beautiful home, staff extremely helpful and communication is excellent. Care and compassion is shown and my father in law settled really well. Staff are attentive and offer refreshments. The administrator, in particular, has kept me informed at all times.

Since our mum became a resident 6 weeks ago we cannot find fault with the standard of care provided. The staff are friendly, caring, very approachable and mum seems happy and settled. This gives us great peace of mind knowing she is being well cared for and treated with respect.

The care our mother is receiving at Aspen Court is exceptional. The staff are caring, kind and friendly. We were worried about having to put our mum in a care home but our fears were calmed. Our mum is treated with respect and dignity.

Mum has been in this home for three months and has been treated with the dignity a person of her age should be treated. Mum was bedridden the first three weeks at the home, but since then she has been out of bed on a daily basis even though she is in a wheelchair.
