Thank you for treating mum with dignity and respect. We cannot fault your care and compassion, in particular, the senior care assistant. She was a pillar of strength to us all.

An amazing team.

Overall Experience

Food is not suitable for the elderly, cold food is not good enough for the elderly. My husband has lost a lot of weight because of the food as most old people do not like salad, men at least. My husband has had a sore on his hip, I don't think it is a bed sore but it has become infected, he is on antibiotics which I am not bothered about. He had the dressing changed on the evening of Wed 14th at 5-6 o'clock when I went in - the same dressing was on at 3 o'clock in the afternoon full of puss. I was not happy with this, you have got too many agency staff working, some good, some bad, this is why you get a bad name. I have done health care for 37 years but this is not good.

The standard and service is very professional and carried out in a caring manner. I am always impressed with the enthusiasm of staff to assist in any areas relating to the care of residents.

The way I and my aunt have been treated has been absolutely wonderful. I would particularly like to mention the lady that gave us a very detailed and helpful introduction to the home before my aunt decided to come, she carried on being extremely helpful and kind after my aunt moved in. I have to say that the advice, care and concern that she has given to me and my aunt over the time since my aunt came in August has massively helped in settling my aunt in. If all your staff are as committed to Bupa and the resident's needs then my aunt will have a wonderful time.
