Heritage Care Centre

All Staff are very caring and friendly, they are very attentive to my mother's needs. The food is very tasty and good. My mother likes the ice lolly rounds. The Nurses always explain to my mother her medication, what they are and why she need to take them.

My Grandad spent his final months at Heritage carehome, after a traumatic time in hospital. The carestaff were excellent - their top priority was ensuring he was comfortable and happy right up until the very end. He was always clean and presentable when we came to visit, and the care workers were very proactive in mitigating against bedsores. The staff were equally as friendly and supportive to myself and the rest of the family, taking the time to chat, answer questions, and generally check in with us during what was a difficult time. I can't fault Heritage carehome - the place was clean and comfortable, the food was decent and plentiful, and the staff were kind and attentive.

I am very happy to be at Heritage Care Centre.

I wish that residents were encouraged to do more activities, going out into the garden and doing exercise (there doesn't seem to be any sort of gym). It would also be good if there were a couple of seating areas somewhere for a couple of visitors to sit when visiting residents.

Excellent service - was made to feel welcome as soon as I walked through the door. Staff were very helpful with information and help. Would recommend to everyone.

Ongoing training for new staff relating to dementia is a must.

Our friend is being taken good care of. We were offered tea while we waited for our friend. All the members of staff we came across were very helpful, polite and welcoming. Elena and Leah were good examples of this.

The home is always very clean and tidy.

All staff, including reception, ward, kitchen, etc, are always helpful, cheerful, and nothing is too much for them. Their approach to every person entering lights up your day. They are a credit to the profession they are in, and it should make you, as a company, very proud.

My review relates to my husband entire admission/stay in home. Excellent care except difficult to get in contact with doctor in home. Husband needs physiotherapy to help him to walk. Doctor should try to contact wife to update of husband ongoing progress/progression, etc in home.

The staff, all staff from nursing, reception, maintenance and admin, are helpful and polite, always with smiles on their faces, and nothing is too much for them. Their care for residents is second to none.

My mother's treatment and care has been amazing. I have had an extremely good experience with all the staff and they are always kind and cheerful and helpful. The nursing staff have looked after my mother's leg problems and kept me informed regularly when she has seen the doctor. My experience and that of my mother's has been that she was always treated with dignity, love and attention. Thank you to everyone for her care.

So helpful when resident prepared for a looked-forward outing. Staff always courteous and thoughtful.

There's just one washing machine working so that delayed setting laundry back, but when laundry arrives it's clean, really clean.

Apart from a couple of staff members in the past whose attitude I found rather negative, I have found the vast majority of staff very caring and professional. I feel confident in the care they provide and their commitment is very obvious. I encounter different people at each visit and I have never doubted their care for both residents and visitors. I cannot comment on management as I have little experience of that.
