My mother was at the Heritage Care Centre for roughly 7 years. During her time there, the staff have been excellent, and they’ve treated her with respect and care. I understand the pressures the Heritage has been under throughout this time such as staff shortages and the Covid pandemic, but as ever,
they worked with love, efficiency and diligence. They invest time in ensuring that the individual requirements of each person are fulfilled, displaying remarkable patience with my mother, whose conduct can be demanding. Heritage provided me with peace of mind that my mother was always well looked after. She regained a better level of health shortly after her arrival and, despite her various ongoing health issues, she has thrived and is now in her late eighties. I have the Heritage Care Centre to thank for that. The quality of care provided at Heritage surpasses my expectations, leaving me delighted with the exceptional level of attention given to my cherished parent.

I am very happy with the care and support my husband is receiving. The staff are caring and friendly and efficient. The surroundings are immaculate, clean and tidy. The choice of food is excellent. there is a pleasant garden to relax and walk in. Overall excellent value for money.

Since we got a new manager, she has got some new care staff and this home has got better and better. We have a good team of carers. The staff are much happier. We need more activities as we like to do things in groups.

All of the staff at Heritage Care Centre have been incredibly warm and kind to my Uncle who is very unwell with a terminal illness. He is being supported and well cared for, staff are always checking he has what he needs and is comfortable. From the reception staff to all the carers and nurses and the
manager, the personal attention to patients is excellent.

Since the new management have taken responsibility of Heritage, the care home has been transformed immensely. The staff and management are always extremely warm and friendly every time we visit and the compassionate nature that they demonstrate to all residents is remarkable. The care home is always
extremely clean and the food provided is always to an excellent standard. The personal care my nan receives is outstanding and it is clear how happy and comfortable she is at Heritage care home. Myself and my family are truly grateful.

The recent positive changes put in place by the new management team and staff at the Heritage care home have now returned this lovely care home to a very happy, friendly ambience that once was. I cannot speak highly enough of all the new staff and changes the new manager has put in place and it is a
joy when I visit to see all the residents cared for with the highest of standards and a Happy atmosphere again. Thank you for all your hard work.

Please do not agree to have yourself or a relative put into this mice-riddled place. My Darling Mum had an awful 6 months there and I saw mice in her room and other rooms practically every time I visited her despite my constant complaints. Far too much horrible stuff to explain including neglect and
major medication provision issues for which I had to get her Social Worker involved but I will mention that there were mice running around her room and the corridor on Christmas Day which I and my family members had to witness from her window including one that was running around with a carrot in its mouth, you couldn't make it up. My Mum caught COVID there and I had to get my M.P. involved but we managed to get my extremely traumatised Mum moved to a decent, caring, and compassionate Care Home but she passed away peacefully there about a month later. Heritage still tried to charge twice as much as they should have for their "services" which I had to challenge at great length.

I would like to request a newsletter of some kind is made available to family members.
My mother has been a resident for two and a half years and it has been very difficult for everyone through the lockdown. It is very frustrating to be advised of changes through care staff which can be inaccurate
and misinterpreted by either party.

I have been extremely impressed by the staff at the Heritage Care Centre my mother-in-law is difficult to please and despite this most of the staff and all of the management team have gone over and above the call of duty to meet her exacting demands it's with all instructions like this one there are
a few members of caring staff who are a bit rushed and therefore rough with her but they are the exception to the rule.

I visit my partner two or three times a week. I have always found the staff to be friendly and caring. They take time to make sure each person's needs are met. They are very patient with my partner, whose behaviour ofter presents challenging. The level of care, at the home, is much better than I had
expected, it might be I am pleased with how well my partner who is very special to me is cared for.

Overall our experience was very good. From the day Mum was admitted we were made to feel welcome from Management, carers and cleaners etc. They all acknowledge Mum by name and are all friendly and nothing is too much trouble.

I cannot find fault in this care home. I was so concerned when I was advised to place mum in a home, but I need not have been. All the staff are fantastic. The meals are great. The staff all go out of their way to talk to me as well as my mum.
