St Mary's Care Home

This is an excellent care home. Very supportive of my mother. Always willing to go the extra mile. During meal times, there are always staff to assist those who are leasable to feed themselves. Excellent social activities, which go a long way to stimulate residents. Excellent social "get-togethers" for residents and their families. Linen is always clean, and rooms are tidy. Management provided extra support.

I found it very pleasant - like home-from-home. Staff are always willing to help with anything you may need.

I have found the management accommodating in any requests I may have. The staff on my ward are extremely friendly and helpful in any need I have. The facilities are clean and very well maintained; from the other ones I viewed before this one, this one is by far the best for care and meeting the needs of its residents.

Mum has been given the best care possible. Every member of staff is polite and very welcoming. Nothing is too much trouble. My family and myself cannot speak more highly about our whole experience at St Mary's. Absolutely outstanding!

My mum passed away at Saint Mary's in March 22. Briefly, she had 6-months of hell in her previous "care home", which traumatised her (and me); she was treated with proper, dignified care by the staff and management of Saint Mary's. Whilst she couldn't appreciate that, I'll always be grateful and feel blessed that she spent her final days on this planet.

I have found the admin and nursing staff very friendly, approachable and always willing to assist. My mother's room is very airy and welcoming. The nursing staff is always pleasant. She enjoys her meals and loves having tea in the garden on sunny days. We both enjoy the musical entertainment on Tuesdays.

When my husband came here, we did not know what to expect. The staff and the carers were so lovely, couldn't have wished for a better care home for him. It is just like an extended family for me and my husband, and everyone is so helpful. Cannot do enough for their residents and lots of things to do to keep us all happy.

St Mary's takes the trouble to provide a lovely, caring environment for all the residents. Each person is treated with dignity, respect and kindness. The staff are very helpful and go out of their way to make the days fun, interesting, and as inclusive as possible.

Since my Mum has come to St Mary's her health, physical appearance, and mental well-being has improved so much. The staff at St Mary's are thoughtful, caring, and are so accommodating. My Mum is so happy now and I put this down to the amazing care she gets at St Mary's. Thank you so much.

During the lockdown, the staff have been wonderful throughout. Each patient is treated as their own mothers or fathers - my mum couldn't have been in a better environment for her well being. The rooms are kept tidy and smell decent. They are never any mad rushes to clean the rooms or my mum because they don't know when I am visiting. I can come at any time, everything is spick and span. Well done to all the staff.

This is an excellent home and would definitely recommend to friends and family.

My husband came into this care home from hospital during the pandemic. He has been here for over three months. he has been well looked after in difficult circumstances relating to the virus we are very grateful to all the staff for everything they do.

Since my father has been here (8-months), my sister and I have been so comforted to know that he is so well looked after. Thank you to all the staff!

I found staff friendly and watched how one carer connects and interacts with residents. Nurses, carers and office staff are very friendly and helpful.

St Mary's is 5 stars plus. Is an excellent nursing/care home. The staff are all professional and also very kind. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff. All are very helpful.

Staff continue to help all service users remain engaged within the setting of the home.

I would recommend anyone who asked me.
