I visited my relative for the first time since her admission ten days ago and I couldn't believe the change in her.

She was happy and clean and in her day clothes for the first time in months. The staff were very welcoming and I felt so relaxed that we could get her into a lovely home.

We are all pleased with Mum's care. It was lovely to attend her birthday party and know that such events are planned regularly for all the residents.

The staff work very hard, are mostly very aware of individual needs and are attentive to residents and their families.

My mother resided for just over a year at Ash Grove Care home before she passed this February 2017. She was there for end of life care and was looked after well by staff and was treated with compassion and dignity right to the end. We were kept informed of her progress and decline throughout her stay and found the staff and manager to be helpful, informative and professional. I would recommend Ash Grove for anyone looking to place their elderly relative into care.

My father has now been here for eleven weeks and seems very settled. He eats very well and enjoys the variety of food provided. I am very satisfied by the way the staff treat and care for him. His room and personal clothing are well maintained. I always feel welcome at the home and all the staff know me by name as well. I would highly recommend this care home.

The BBQ was really good with the sunshine and a good temperature. It was lovely and the food was really great. The staff were very good and caring, bringing food to the residents and then families as well. There was entertainment with a dancer for a tea dance demo. It was nice that everyone was together, young and old.
