On arrival, all the staff greeted us both with smiles and made us feel relaxed.
We were taken to his room where we unpacked with the assistance of two of the girls.
I stayed to enjoy lunch with my husband and when I left the staff gave good advice.
Thereafter, phone calls were always reassuring and the same professional service was displayed when I was leaving.

Thank you.

My husband was in this care home for two years. He had a nice private room, it was clean and his belongings were washed in time.
They provided very good medical assistance he was referred several times to a hospital even was operated there.

He was 95 when he died peacefully and a nurse was with him for feeding, changing, talking. All of the staff deserve to be mentioned as they did a very good job. Thank you.

Ash Grove has provided my dad with excellent care during his stay. He is as happy as he could be, given his health status.

The staff are so kind and obviously dedicated to their work. They make visitors very welcome and it is always a pleasure to visit my father.

I have to commend the manager and the staff for the effort and willingness to adopt and incorporate relatives and friends suggestions.

I must say this particular party was more clients (residents) focus and user-friendly for the confused and agitated individuals.

Hard to give an opinion since I live abroad and I cannot regularly visit my sister, being already very aged. However, the overall impression is good and I can recommend this place to my friends in case of necessity.

Ash Grove is a very good care home. My husband is well looked after. The staff are great with him. There is also something going on to keep them busy. We had a party on Friday, it was a great afternoon with singing and dancing and plenty of food. Very well done. Great to see the staff having a great time as well.

Ash Grove care home looked after my brother for over 8 years. He was looked after very well. He was happy there until his death in October 2017. All the staff were kind and friendly. I am glad we chose Ash Grove as his care home.

The care home manager, and all her team should be very proud of the way they all do their work at the home, they are a real credit to the care of the elderly, the dedication of the team shines through, and the home is without doubt in my mind a model for how homes should be run. The continuity of staff is clearly a testament to great teamwork. My mother in law, always said how kind everyone was, and for her to say that I knew it was true. We have always praised the home to everyone we know and we take great comfort from knowing what good care she received during her stay at the home and the compassionate way her last days were managed. I sincerely hope the team receive this acknowledgement, it is well deserved.

My husband has been in this home one year - he is taken good care of and I see him clean and shaved. The room is cleaned. Food presented in a good way and is appetising.

He really needed this care and it is available in this care home.

My friend has been resident at Ash Grove for some months now.
I visit weekly and the services provided seem to be excellent - the building is well designed and comfortable and the staff are always attentive and pleasant.

My only concern is that she does not quite fit in with other Ash Grove residents - she has a high level of awareness and there is little opportunity for her to make and maintain meaningful relationships within the home.
