I found all the staff to be very kind and caring, I could not have wished for a better home for my auntie to be in.

Auntie was ill in the last few months and her care was exemplary.

I find the home to be welcoming and they are kind and friendly to guests and residents. Taking time to help them to try to meet their needs. The home is well managed and is clean and tidy. Her clothes are now stored and kept better than the last review I wrote. Entertainment and activities could be more focused towards residents.

Reply from Clare Sheehan, Careline Advisor at Ashgrove Care Home

Thank you for your kind comments, I am very pleased to receive a good report. As discussed recently, our activity program is varied and tailored according to the individual resident’s needs. Some residents enjoy group activities, whereas others are more comfortable with 1:1 activities. All...

At this time of year when it's very warm, the welcome is as warm as ever, but with a slight difference, not a tea, but a cooling ice lolly.

Very thoughtful staff, good forward thinking, always attentive, there to help.

My father has been in Ash Grove Care Home for one year now. He has now settled well and I believe is happy at the home. All the staff are very friendly, professional and clearly care for my father's welfare. We appreciate so much the help the management and her team give on a daily visit to my father's quality of life.

The care my brother receives is first class. The effort that was put in for his 80th birthday with regards to both food and entertainment was excellent. The care and attention to his personal hygiene and cleanliness of his washing and room are very good. The routine visits by the staff, give me a lot of confidence that he is in a very safe environment both personally and building wise.
