My mother was taken into your care on the 15ht March 2018. She was receiving palliative care.

Words can't express how kind and caring the staff were making my mother's last few weeks so comfortable and peaceful.

The staff always makes me welcome. Although my mum has severe dementia and is very confused, the staff always try to keep her calm and reassured that everything is ok. A cup of coffee and biscuits is always offered when I visit my mum. It is very easy to talk to the staff.

I was able to visit my mother a number of times during Aug/Sept last as I reside in Australia. My visits became a great source of pleasure and it was wonderful and enjoyable to see how mum was being cared for by a very experienced and capable team in all aspects of her care. 'I thank you all'.

My mother was cared for at Aston House for a year before she passed away in February 2018. The care and support she received were excellent and she was treated with dignity at all times. The manager and staff were always visible and ready to answer any questions. I will always be very grateful to this wonderful team.

Just to say a huge thank you to the manager for all that you and your staff have done for our mother and us over the past 18 months. Thank you for handling all aspects of mums care with dignity, compassion and respect. Also, thank you for dealing with myself and my sister gently when at times we may not have been thinking rationally. Thank you to all the wonderful carers at Aston house for caring for our mum, you are all very special and we will always appreciate the care, kindness and thoughtfulness shown to mum during her time in Aston House. Love from all the family.

A great event organised by the home for Care Home Day for the residents. It was nice to see everyone dress up and entertaining our lovely ones. It was great to see the ice cream van with the residents wanting to go and get their own ice cream.
The management team was even performing for the residents on that day and I have never seen the residents having so much joy and laughter. A big well done to the team and outstanding effort made for our dear ones to have a great day.

Thank you Aston House Team xx

My husband was a resident in Aston House from May 2015 until he passed away on 31st March 2017. He was treated with respect and humanity by all the staff who were excellent. I've only praise for the way he received kindness and care and the young lady who works in activities who was good.

Mum seems to have settled very well after a few tears at the start, but that was to be expected.

All the staff are very pleasant, we are pleased that mum is able to go out on visits. Now we have put pictures up, it's made it a bit more homely and the staff are always willing to help.
