My brother was a difficult resident to deal with, shouting at staff. They treated him well and attended to his emergency calls, particularly in this last month when he was very weak.

My sister was placed in Carrick House Nursing House because she was bedridden and has bad bed sores. The staff were very professional and kind and she had round the clock care.
She was in the care home for 15 months until she died.
Whilst in Carrick House her overall health deteriorated but the staff were kind and made sure that she was always comfortable and well looked after. We were always welcomed with a smile when we visited and we felt confident that she was getting the best care.

The manager was always ready to answer any questions that we had.

Dad was in the home for ten months.
During that time he was treated with dignity and respect.
He could be difficult at times but the staff were always friendly and helpful and kept the family fully informed of any developments relating to his health.
The staff went out of their way to make a happy and cheerful atmosphere with Christmas and birthday parties and a general feeling of good will.

I am very grateful to all the staff for making the final period of Dad's life so pleasant.

My mother was admitted into this residential nursing home from hospital earlier in the year in June. She was to largely receive palliative care. At all times, both myself and my mother received courteous, friendly and efficient care. The manageress was particularly helpful.

My stepfather was only in the nursing home for three weeks before he passed away, but in that time they showed him kindness and compassion. Although he couldn't help himself he was always kept clean and everyone tried hard to keep him comfortable and although he spent most of his time unresponsive they always spoke to him to try and get a response. We will always be grateful to management and staff.

Unfortunately mu husband did not spend very long at Carrick House because he died soon after he was admitted, direct from hospital. However during his short stay we found the staff/manager extremely caring and understanding. They could not do enough for us. My husband was treated with dignity and the staff were extremely sympathetic and comforting to me and my daughter after he died. They made a very difficult and distressing situation bearable and we can't thank them enough.

Our mother was admitted to Carrick House and really enjoyed the experience. At age 84 and in a wheelchair she was treated with care and respect even when she was being awkward. The atmosphere is very cosy and the staff are friendly. It's almost like a second home. The food is good and someone is always on hand to help out. I can recommend them wholeheartedly.

There are no words to describe the excellent care given by the manager and her entire team. My mother was treated like their own - in fact even better than we could treat her.
They were all very caring and passionate about their work, if I could call it work, because their work was like their worship.
You could tell by the way they worked with patients in making them very comfortable.

I once again cannot thank them enough as I would be doing them a disservice not trying to thank them. Thank you (The owners) for making a team.

From the first day June 21st 2016 when my mother got moved to Carrick House from hospital, she has the best care that we could have asked for.
The manager made her so comfortable, all the staff called her "Ba" what we have called her all her life. Everyone was taking such good care of Ba. My whole family felt like we were allowed extra quality time with Ba knowing that she had very little time left.

We are from USA and wanted to spend time with her. The kitchen staff were the best also, they would be willing to make different dishes for her, just so that they would know that she ate a little bit of something. I want to thank each and every one of you for taking such good care of Ba.

I came here from hospital and was given my own room with T.V to watch cupboards and wardrobe. After a few days settled into the routine, nurses washing you each day, meal times. Staff always on hand with your buzzer when you need them. There is a large lounge if you want to go into, outside garden etc, but I stayed in my room as I was recovering from a serious accident preferred the quiet area doing puzzles, reading and watching a bit of T.V. staff always encourage you a lot and I got stronger
