Clairleigh is a spacious, comfortable purpose built nursing home situated in the suburb of Wildmore green. It is nine miles south-east of the centre of London and within walking distance of Bromley town centre.

The layout of the home is specifically designed to provide a safe and pleasant environment.

Clairleigh Nursing Home aims to provide the finest nursing care for residents. Clairleigh is equipped with all the facilities necessary to make a resident's stay comfortable and beneficial.

Professionals offer an exceptionally high standard of care for older people and those with disabilities as well as post-operative and convalescent residents.

Clairleigh provides care for 50 residents, 48 single and 2 shared rooms all with en-suite shower facilities. Each room is provided with Nurse Call Bell, TV and telephone points.

The home has lounge facilities on each floor with a TV lounge. Clairleigh's main attraction has always been its beautiful garden. Recently they have added a cinema room, library, activities room, hairdressing salon, and a new dining and bistro area. There is a new patio area overlooking the beautiful gardens. Recently Clairleigh have implemented a sensory room with a mobile sensory trolley which they can use for residents who are bedbound. Also a lovely memorial garden as been built

My mum has been a resident at Clairleigh Nursing Home for a year now. The staff are amazing and I think they are the kindest group of people I have ever met. There is always a cheerful greeting and a laugh to be had.
The activities (including regular outside visitors) have kept Mum engaged and there
have been several events for residents' families to enjoy with their loved ones and outings arranged throughout the year. The staff work together for the benefit of the residents and treat everyone with dignity and care.
The home is light, bright, clean and cheerful.

I simply can not thank Clairleigh enough for the care and compassion shown to my mum and to us as a family. My mum spent almost two years in Clairleigh until her passing. She transferred from the hospital during the height of Covid. The staff at Clairleigh welcomed Mum into their family instantly. Mum
suffered from dementia, and whilst this was a confusing and upsetting time, I believe she always felt safe and knew she could trust the team at Clairleigh. The activities team put on a varied and engaging range of activities and has a beautiful garden which they make excellent use of in the summer. Lunches always smelt delicious and tea, coffee and cake are always readily available. The nursing and care staff always made sure Mum was well-presented and treated her with kindness and dignity right until her last days.
Dealing with dementia is so tough, but without Clairleigh, it would have been a thousand times tougher. Thank you.

My mum went into Clairleigh Nursing Home for a 4 week period of respite care and we were very impressed with all of the staff who did everything they could to make both my Mum and our family welcome. The standard of care was excellent and it is a very pleasant environment, my mum particularly enjoyed

Clairleigh Nursing Home residents, including my mum and dad, have enjoyed several outings recently in a purpose-built minibus to a local garden centre and also to the museum. My parents both have mobility issues so wheelchairs were in use throughout the day and the dedicated staff ensured that they
were safe and happy. Packed lunches were provided too and many lovely photos were taken throughout the day which I will treasure. It was wonderful to see Mum and Dad out and about again. In addition - it was Mum and Dad's wedding anniversary a couple of weeks ago and they arrived at their lunch table to find it sprinkled with decorative hearts and large vase of roses. It's the small, caring touches that makes Clairleigh such a home from home.

My mother (85) has been with Clairleigh Nursing Home now for 7 weeks (following a fall at home, deteriorating health and a stay in hospital) and she has been looked after and cared for so well by all the staff at Clairleigh since the day she arrived. The premises are extremely bright, attractive and
spotlessly clean. The nursing care and attention to my mum have been faultless and I cannot thank the staff enough for everything they are doing for her and us as a family in making sure she is safe, well looked after and happy. Mum has taken time to settle in but is doing so very well and there has been a noticeable improvement in her overall wellbeing. All of the staff are so welcoming and friendly and no matter what time we call or visit someone is always on hand with a reassuring voice and happy to always spend the time to update us and chat.

After 3 months at Clairleigh Nursing Home, Mum has settled and is well cared for. Mum is mentally very bright and enjoys participating in activities and engaging with the staff, all of whom are friendly and client focused. She has her newspaper delivered daily, although I'm not sure she has time to
read it as she is occupied with seeing her many visitors and participating in Clairleigh Nursing Homes's organised activities. Now that the weather has improved, she is very happy to sit in the garden with a good book. She also uses the hairdresser weekly, is seen by the GP who comes in, as well as the chiropodist. Everything is laid on for the client's comfort and health care.

Mum came to Clairleigh Nursing Home at the beginning of this week after a prolonged stay in hospital. On arrival staff were so kind and attentive Mum quickly relaxed and began to feel at home. The room is beautifully decorated as are the communal areas. The garden is beautiful and well tended. All the
staff I have met have been kind, happy and friendly. All residents I have seen seem happy and engaged in life! I feel confident Mum is going to do really well here and I am very thankful for that.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoy visiting my grandparents at Clairleigh Nursing Home. Everyone is so warm and friendly and I am always made to feel welcome and enjoy tea and cake in the afternoons! The garden is beautiful so it is particularly lovely visiting in the spring and summer as we can sit
outside. My grandparents are very well cared for and it's really heart-warming to see how much they are loved and respected by the staff and it's very reassuring to know that they are safe and happy. Thank you to everyone at Clairleigh.

My mother has been residing at Clairleigh Nursing Home for over six years. We recently had a health scare and the staff and management have been exemplary in looking after her, not only in the physical sense but with great compassion and empathy. The management, nurses, carers, activity coordinators,
reception, cooks, laundry and maintenance staff have been absolutely wonderful in their support for my mother and also for my sister and myself.
Communication from the current management within these hard times has been regular and concise and visiting has been arranged by the fantastic activities team and carried out in a very secure Covid environment. The inhouse facilities, including a cinema room and garden, are great and a lovely hairdresser, manicurist and chiropodist attend the residents regularly. We are currently very happy with her care and would not have her live anywhere else.

My father has been a resident of Clairleigh Nursing Home for over a year now and with his advancing dementia and significant memory loss, it has become his home. It has been an exceptionally challenging time for care homes, placing a great deal of added stress on staff, residents and families. Clairleigh
has risen to these challenges with kindness and professionalism. I pass on my appreciation for all the care my dad receives, so often going the extra mile to support both residents and their families.

My grandparents have shared a room at Clairleigh for over 3-years, and as a family, we could not be happier with the care and attention they receive. As a member of the medical profession, I have been very impressed with the way the nurses and carers address the individual needs of my grandparents,
especially my grandmother with Alzheimer's. They are treated with respect, patience and positivity, and Grandad once told me when feeling unwell that he had been "overwhelmed with care". The new manager and deputy manager are a formidable team with an 'open door' policy, and nothing is too much trouble. Also need to mention the superb activities organisers who do a wonderful job keeping residents active and entertained. They even organised a party to celebrate my grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary last summer. Clairleigh is a Covid-secure, warm, safe and happy environment, and when I visit, I always feel welcomed. Very happy to recommend Clairleigh to anyone looking for a care home.

My mother, who is in her 90s, frail and has dementia, is very well cared for at Clairleigh. All the staff I encounter are friendly and caring. The visiting limitations during the pandemic have been challenging for my mother and the family, but the management and staff at the home have communicated with
me regularly and clearly, making things as easy as possible. I am happy to recommend this nursing home.

As I have been unable to visit my mother or speak to her directly I am unable to give an accurate review. However, the staff who greet me at the front door when I am making deliveries are all very welcoming and helpful. Prior to lockdown, my mother was very happy with her surroundings and the care she
has received. There have been food issues when the chef had been changed. She has been kept save and Covid free!

When my friend was being discharged from hospital, it was obvious that she could not go home immediately to look after herself. She was fortunate that there was a vacancy at Clairleigh. The assessment of her needs was carried out very sensitively. It wasn't long before it was obvious that this would
have to be a permanent placement. It was not easy for her to give up her independence and despite being difficult at times the staff treated her with kindness and courtesy.

I am particularly referring to the family day on Saturday the 27 July. My wife and I attended, as well as my sister and her husband. Fortunately, the weather was good and the party spilled out into the garden. It was a great opportunity to meet other residents and their families and it was very well
organised with a good singer singing popular 50s and 60s songs. The bar was well run and the food was amazing, attractively presented savouries, cakes and fruit, and plenty of it. Well done Clairleigh, it was an excellent occasion.
