My Father spent the last 5 months of his life at Clairleigh Nursing Home. All of the staff were loving, patient, and very kind to my Dad who had Alzheimer's. Dad passed away peacefully and the night staff made the sad time more bearable.

I will have fond memories of Dad's last days, great entertainment, and genuine caring staff.

I am very pleased to have got my wife into Clairleigh.
My family and I find it very satisfactory.

I cannot answer to final question about value for money as we have that under assessment currently and I do not know how much I will have to pay.

I visited my dear friend on Wednesday 27th December, who is with you for what is probably end-of-life care. I was very impressed with what I saw: staff, establishment, level of care, monitoring and attention. I couldn't have hoped for better. I left with comfort in the knowledge that my friend could not be in a better place. Thank you so much.

After a long stay in hospital my mum moved into Clairleigh eight years ago. The care is exceptional and the staff genuinely care about the people they are looking after. The residents are all treated as individuals and all their needs are taken care of. Standards of the home are very high, it is extremely well kept with great facilities. I think that so many of the staff seem to have been there for a long time, which is a good indication of the way the home is run and the benefit of that for the residents is immeasurable.

Found Clairleigh to be a well-run nursing home and very clean. The staff was very kind and willing to do the little extra things for my father and the day-to-day care was very good. The entertainment team were excellent and the support from the team since the passing of my father has been a great comfort to the family.

My mum has been a resident at Clairleigh Nursing Home for a year now. The staff are amazing and I think they are the kindest group of people I have ever met. There is always a cheerful greeting and a laugh to be had.
The activities (including regular outside visitors) have kept Mum engaged and there have been several events for residents' families to enjoy with their loved ones and outings arranged throughout the year. The staff work together for the benefit of the residents and treat everyone with dignity and care.

The home is light, bright, clean and cheerful.

I simply can not thank Clairleigh enough for the care and compassion shown to my mum and to us as a family. My mum spent almost two years in Clairleigh until her passing. She transferred from the hospital during the height of Covid. The staff at Clairleigh welcomed Mum into their family instantly. Mum suffered from dementia, and whilst this was a confusing and upsetting time, I believe she always felt safe and knew she could trust the team at Clairleigh. The activities team put on a varied and engaging range of activities and has a beautiful garden which they make excellent use of in the summer. Lunches always smelt delicious and tea, coffee and cake are always readily available. The nursing and care staff always made sure Mum was well-presented and treated her with kindness and dignity right until her last days.

Dealing with dementia is so tough, but without Clairleigh, it would have been a thousand times tougher. Thank you.

My mum went into Clairleigh Nursing Home for a 4 week period of respite care and we were very impressed with all of the staff who did everything they could to make both my Mum and our family welcome. The standard of care was excellent and it is a very pleasant environment, my mum particularly enjoyed using the garden space.

Clairleigh Nursing Home residents, including my mum and dad, have enjoyed several outings recently in a purpose-built minibus to a local garden centre and also to the museum. My parents both have mobility issues so wheelchairs were in use throughout the day and the dedicated staff ensured that they were safe and happy. Packed lunches were provided too and many lovely photos were taken throughout the day which I will treasure. It was wonderful to see Mum and Dad out and about again. In addition - it was Mum and Dad's wedding anniversary a couple of weeks ago and they arrived at their lunch table to find it sprinkled with decorative hearts and large vase of roses. It's the small, caring touches that makes Clairleigh such a home from home.

My mother (85) has been with Clairleigh Nursing Home now for 7 weeks (following a fall at home, deteriorating health and a stay in hospital) and she has been looked after and cared for so well by all the staff at Clairleigh since the day she arrived. The premises are extremely bright, attractive and spotlessly clean. The nursing care and attention to my mum have been faultless and I cannot thank the staff enough for everything they are doing for her and us as a family in making sure she is safe, well looked after and happy. Mum has taken time to settle in but is doing so very well and there has been a noticeable improvement in her overall wellbeing. All of the staff are so welcoming and friendly and no matter what time we call or visit someone is always on hand with a reassuring voice and happy to always spend the time to update us and chat.

After 3 months at Clairleigh Nursing Home, Mum has settled and is well cared for. Mum is mentally very bright and enjoys participating in activities and engaging with the staff, all of whom are friendly and client focused. She has her newspaper delivered daily, although I'm not sure she has time to read it as she is occupied with seeing her many visitors and participating in Clairleigh Nursing Homes's organised activities. Now that the weather has improved, she is very happy to sit in the garden with a good book. She also uses the hairdresser weekly, is seen by the GP who comes in, as well as the chiropodist. Everything is laid on for the client's comfort and health care.

Mum has been a resident at Clairleigh Nursing Home for nineteen months now and is as happy now as she was at the beginning. She is now bedbound but still receives the same amount of care and love from all the staff and it is so reassuring for me that she is so well looked after. I am so glad we chose Clairleigh as Mum's new home from home.

Mum came to Clairleigh Nursing Home at the beginning of this week after a prolonged stay in hospital. On arrival staff were so kind and attentive Mum quickly relaxed and began to feel at home. The room is beautifully decorated as are the communal areas. The garden is beautiful and well tended. All the staff I have met have been kind, happy and friendly. All residents I have seen seem happy and engaged in life! I feel confident Mum is going to do really well here and I am very thankful for that.

Just wanted to say how much I enjoy visiting my grandparents at Clairleigh Nursing Home. Everyone is so warm and friendly and I am always made to feel welcome and enjoy tea and cake in the afternoons! The garden is beautiful so it is particularly lovely visiting in the spring and summer as we can sit outside. My grandparents are very well cared for and it's really heart-warming to see how much they are loved and respected by the staff and it's very reassuring to know that they are safe and happy. Thank you to everyone at Clairleigh.

My mother has been residing at Clairleigh Nursing Home for over six years. We recently had a health scare and the staff and management have been exemplary in looking after her, not only in the physical sense but with great compassion and empathy. The management, nurses, carers, activity coordinators, reception, cooks, laundry and maintenance staff have been absolutely wonderful in their support for my mother and also for my sister and myself.

Communication from the current management within these hard times has been regular and concise and visiting has been arranged by the fantastic activities team and carried out in a very secure Covid environment. The inhouse facilities, including a cinema room and garden, are great and a lovely hairdresser, manicurist and chiropodist attend the residents regularly. We are currently very happy with her care and would not have her live anywhere else.

My father has been a resident of Clairleigh Nursing Home for over a year now and with his advancing dementia and significant memory loss, it has become his home. It has been an exceptionally challenging time for care homes, placing a great deal of added stress on staff, residents and families. Clairleigh has risen to these challenges with kindness and professionalism. I pass on my appreciation for all the care my dad receives, so often going the extra mile to support both residents and their families.

Thank you for the wonderful and vital work that you do.

My grandparents have shared a room at Clairleigh for over 3-years, and as a family, we could not be happier with the care and attention they receive. As a member of the medical profession, I have been very impressed with the way the nurses and carers address the individual needs of my grandparents, especially my grandmother with Alzheimer's. They are treated with respect, patience and positivity, and Grandad once told me when feeling unwell that he had been "overwhelmed with care". The new manager and deputy manager are a formidable team with an 'open door' policy, and nothing is too much trouble. Also need to mention the superb activities organisers who do a wonderful job keeping residents active and entertained. They even organised a party to celebrate my grandparents' 60th wedding anniversary last summer. Clairleigh is a Covid-secure, warm, safe and happy environment, and when I visit, I always feel welcomed. Very happy to recommend Clairleigh to anyone looking for a care home.
