Clairleigh is a spacious, comfortable purpose built nursing home situated in the suburb of Wildmore green. It is nine miles south-east of the centre of London and within walking distance of Bromley town centre.

The layout of the home is specifically designed to provide a safe and pleasant environment.

Clairleigh Nursing Home aims to provide the finest nursing care for residents. Clairleigh is equipped with all the facilities necessary to make a resident's stay comfortable and beneficial.

Professionals offer an exceptionally high standard of care for older people and those with disabilities as well as post-operative and convalescent residents.

Clairleigh provides care for 50 residents, 48 single and 2 shared rooms all with en-suite shower facilities. Each room is provided with Nurse Call Bell, TV and telephone points.

The home has lounge facilities on each floor with a TV lounge. Clairleigh's main attraction has always been its beautiful garden. Recently they have added a cinema room, library, activities room, hairdressing salon, and a new dining and bistro area. There is a new patio area overlooking the beautiful gardens. Recently Clairleigh have implemented a sensory room with a mobile sensory trolley which they can use for residents who are bedbound. Also a lovely memorial garden as been built

I am my husband's carer he has dementia and walking problems. I needed a rest after 7 years of looking after him. We are self-financed so I chose Clairleigh. They were attentive, kine and he was always clean. There were lots of things going on to entertain patients.

Mum was resident at Clairleigh for just under 5 years until her death recently. The staff were caring, compassionate and attentive to her needs. Staff were friendly and treated Mum with dignity and respect. I felt happy in the knowledge that Mum was safe and looked after well by the team. The home
was bright and clean. Since the refurbishments, there was plenty of space in the lounge area for the residents and their visitors to sit together as well as being able to find a quieter space to be with Mum when we visited.

So pleased that my mother was able to spend her last months in such a caring environment, particularly during her last few weeks when she became confused and vulnerable.
Credit should also be given to the staff for creating a friendly and life affirming culture making it a pleasure to visit on a regular

My 92-year-old father required palliative care. We looked at several homes and picked Clairleigh Nursing Home on the basis of the welcome we received. The care and attention given to as we viewed and that we weren't put under any pressure. There was not a day that we regretted that decision. Not only
did they take extremely good care of my father but also showed care and compassion for his wife who visited every day. They also kept us well informed of everything concerning his care and treatment. An excellent facility.

The care staff were very good, treating my wife with dignity and real affection. I felt the nursing care was considerate and gave me confidence in their work. The environment was welcoming from the start and continued in that vein.
It was a real home from home as far as it could be under the circumstances.

This home was exactly what we were looking for. Mum had a wonderful but short time here. Everyone we came across was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. There was always something going on for the residents from entertainment, pet visits and trips out. It was home from home.

My mother lived at Clairleigh Nursing Home for over 3 years until her death. She was very immobile and the carers and nurses were always cheerful, friendly and diligent in their care. The home is bright and clean and never smelt of anything unpleasant. The staff helped us organise an 80th birthday for
mum and were really helpful.

Clairleigh is a lovely home with very caring staff and management. The home is clean with lovely rooms and excellent food. Nothing is too much trouble and all requirements are catered for., The staff, both the carers and nurses look after the residents with care, patience and compassion. Visitors are
made to feel welcome. The owners are regular visitors and the home manager is very knowledgeable and knows each resident. The manager runs the home with care, giving an atmosphere of congeniality and safety.

They gave proactive advice in a friendly way. The room was clean, light and airy.
The staff (all of them) and management went out of their way to make mums stay as pleasant as possible. They took the trouble to get to know mum- she wasn't just an elderly sick person.

From my first visit in May, I was made to feel very welcome. I went unannounced and the staff I met were all helpful. My friend was being well looked after and had only good things to say about the home and the people looking after him. He likes to go in the garden and as he is in a wheelchair, they
always find time to take him out there. He likes the activities and quizzes. I am welcome to visit anytime, any day and there is always tea and coffee on hand. This is a very good care home with excellent management and staff.

The entire team are always extremely welcoming when I visit my brother. I feel they know him as a person, not just a patient. He appears to be clean and well fed and his clothes are clean. The home is currently undergoing extensive building work, however, my brother's room is always clean. My brother
says that the staff are all very kind. When I visit they are often having a laugh with him and other residents.

My mother who was a resident at Clairleigh Nursing Home, died on the 20th of May. She was there for only three and a half months but was extremely frail and ill. During that time, she was cared for with great kindness and at the end, the staff were wonderful. I have rarely witnessed such tenderness
and compassion from every level of personnel and they were an immense comfort to me at my time of loss. I cannot speak highly enough of them.

Since my sister has been in Claircleigh Nursing Home (2 years) she has been well cared for as she is completely bedridden. Since she came here there has been considerable building, extension work going on. Despite these difficulties, the staff have all coped well and with cheerfulness.
