Fern Gardens is a specialist home providing a variety of quality care, including 24-hour residential care, dementia care and additional support for those with more complex needs such as mental health conditions.

The home is a modern two-storey building, with 92 en-suite bedrooms with modern décor and up-to-date facilities, as well as a number of communal areas in which residents can enjoy the light and space.

An experienced and multicultural care team work hard to adapt to the varying needs of the residents, with a broad activities programme designed for the hobbies and interests of the residents.

The home has a secure outdoor space, with pathways for gentle walks and ample seating allowing for enjoyment of the fresh air. Residents have good access to local facilities and shops as they are supported to remain independent for as long as possible.

I found the staff to be extremely professional. Always willing to listen and to offer advice where appropriate. My aunt was very happy and comfortable whilst she was here. I would definitely recommend Fern Garden Care Home.

I cannot describe the most amazing care for my grandmother. They go above and beyond and are so friendly and welcoming. I always feel my grandmother is well looked after and cared for. Just a wonderful place.

My brother seems very content - the staff are attentive, caring and good with my brother. Rooms are fine, the food is very good, and my brother has gained 8lbs in a month of being here. Need to improve answering phones and front door - or give families passcodes.

My dad has been at Fern Gardens for over two months now and I cannot fault his care. The staff all go above and beyond to make sure dad's health and welfare is looked after and also support us as a family. Thank you Fern Gardens team.

When our sweet mum came to you the dedication from all staff was so lovely. It gave us peace of mind that mum was safe and being looked after. Such friendly staff all the time and mum did hook on to a couple in particular. Bless her. Mum was always so looked after from the freshly cleaned clothes we
brought in and cleaned by their laundry. Fresh food prepared on-site and great variation of food. Mum loved her tea and never went wanting for a cup. Even we were treated so nicely while in with mum many times a week. The facilities there are excellent from the therapy dog and their own hairdresser's room with the mirrors and chairs nice touch. The garden is beautiful safe and quiet. Mum loved the garden We spent so much time walking around there. The resident's rooms are cosy, bright, safe and have modern ensuites also. The dedication from all staff was second to none. We were happy that Mum had her dignity every day. Thank You from her Family.

My aunt was transferred to Fern Gardens from hospital. She has been treated with care and dignity and has flourished. I have been impressed by the friendly, professional staff. The home is kept very clean and warm, and the atmosphere is inviting and caring.

My father-in-law has been at Fern Gardens for around two months. The nurses and care staff are amazing, they cannot do enough for him and for the family when we visit. They are like angels. He has settled very well and is very happy here. The manager has been very supportive.

In the short time I have experienced the everyday workings of this care home, I am very impressed. The staff are very attentive and caring. My aunt has settled very well and is very happy with the meals. From the many activities she takes part in I know her mental care is stimulated. Everywhere looks

I have visited the home several times and each and every one of the staff are so kind and do their job very well. The maintenance man is always there to lend a hand. The home is modern and well maintained just cannot fault it thanks to all for looking after my mum and all the other residents from her

For me, this place is basically, here's what I'd say. if I could champion this place for families to send their loved ones this place would be it. Places like this would never need a "secret shopper" because this is excellent. I would definitely not fear from recommending this home.
When I first came
here I was utterly completely terrified of a 'care home' idea but after over a month the phase left. If now at all I was ever to stay permanently I would return to, thank you for the stay.

At first, I was upset that he was sent to a care home. It was difficult for me and the place is far. It is the first time he was away in 20 years, but now I see he is satisfied with you here. I can now easily return home from my visits here as there are no complaints from him. He is comfortable with
this place and all the staff here. The only difficulty is taking a taxi to come here. Thank you, my husband here is all satisfied. Thank you all for keeping him happy and peaceful. Thank you very much for helping me at all times as well.
