The Fountains Care Centre is an important part of the community, providing residential and nursing care, in addition to specialist care for those living with dementia.

The rooms are all en-suite. The home is a modern three-storey building, with a mix of private and communal areas for residents to choose to spend their time in.

An experienced and multicultural care team strives to deliver personalised care to those living within the home, tailoring activities and care to individual interests, hobbies and needs.

The home has a secure outdoor space surrounding the home, with pathways for gentle walks and ample seating allowing enjoyment of the fresh air.

The whole service of this nursing home is above and beyond any of my expectations. Being a qualified NVQ carer myself I have been in the care field for over 30 years. The whole of the staff from the manager down is first-rate.

My father has been a resident here for six months. The staff are very caring and kind. The care my father has received has been very good. The staff always do their best to make sure that we are kept informed about my father's care.

I just met a member of The Fountains on the 9th February 2019 and was in Fountains on 11th February for the first time but the room (my husband's) was extremely clean. I liked the laminated floor instead of carpet (more hygienic). The furniture was in good condition. The decoration is very beautiful.
The nurse was concerned about very important points (e.g. Security, medication with labels). I was asked to help to fill in a very intense form where food, incontinence cloths, mobility etc all was included.

I have found the care of my mother to be very good. The staff have been very attentive to my mother and our family when visiting.
My only concern has been on the one occasion, my family and I tried to contact the home one evening, for a progress report on my mum's welfare and the request for her to
receive a doctors visit. We were unable to get anyone to answer the phones after 8 attempts by myself and 8 from my sister. This necessitated me to visit the home at 10 o'clock in the evening.

The Fountains provide good care to my father. My father is looked after with care and consideration to his needs. The staff are friendly and treat my father with respect. The facility is kept clean and provides a comfortable environment for the patients. My father seems settled at The Fountains Care

Each time I have visited The Fountains I have been impressed by the friendliness of the staff, combined with the degree of care and kindness shown to my aunt. She is bed-ridden and extremely frail, and, from what I have observed, she is treated with dignity and respect and given excellent nursing care.
She feels she has made friends among the staff and is very content to spend the remainder of her days in their care.

My aunt has dementia and the level of care is appalling. At least one fall has gone unrecorded, and no care plan was put in place after the fall. The reports the care home create are full of conflicting information and social services have advised we move our aunt to another home as she is not receiving
the level of care she deserves. My aunt has been left without clean clothes for just over a week, no one at the home can tell us why. The room she is staying in isn't always clean and sometimes there are not even sheets on the bed. The rooms are very nice when they're clean.
