My mother has been cared for now at Greenhill for over three years and I can't express how grateful I am for the professional and caring attitude of the management and staff. I have felt very welcome every time I visit the home. It's very clean and residents are well cared for. Staff very friendly and helpful.

My father is extremely happy and content at Greenhill Nursing Home. As a family, we couldn't wish for a better home! All of the staff are professional, caring and simply wonderful. We enjoyed an excellent afternoon at Greenhill for the summer BBQ, great food and entertainment and everyone enjoyed the day.

We have found Greenhill Nursing Home to provide a warm and friendly environment, important for residents and equally extended to family and visitors. The staff are helpful. My mum and family have found the staff to be kind, respectful and understanding, even in some challenging circumstances associated with dementia. Mum says she is so lucky to have such lovely carers. Nurses are always on hand and medical assistance is summoned quickly for checks and antibiotics. The food is very good, plentiful and nutritious - well presented. Activities are wholly inclusive and subject to individual limitations and wishes. Since post-Covid, families are encouraged to join in. Management are approachable and helpful. As a family, we feel Mum is well cared for and safe. We refer to the care home as the Greenhill family.

My wife looks well cared for. When I see her she is clean of body and clothes and her hair is brushed. The staff are caring and friendly. I feel that the staff listen to me and communicate with me. The nursing home is spacious, airy and not smelly. I think that more carers are needed as this is a very labour-intensive job. This review is based on my visiting about four times a week for one and a half hours each time, so I could be missing things.

Friendly staff, patient and understanding.

Generally very pleased, permanent staff are helpful and very kind. Management is excellent, good at communication and leads by example in caring for the residents. We have noticed a slight decline in the agency staff since the change of company, in the Autumn of last year.

Care and patience are very obvious as the staff look after Mum’s daily needs. The communication from the staff and the management has been very helpful and they make the effort to keep us informed.

I am reassured and thankful that Mum lives at Greenhill.

The staff at Greenhill Nursing Home treated my mother with the utmost care and respect and I cannot praise them enough! Her wellbeing was always at the forefront and she was greeted with a smile and compassion. Thank you for making my mother's final months happy and peaceful.

My last word is to thank all staff at Greenhill for their hard work in these challenging circumstances.

My brother-in-law is receiving palliative care and has actually improved since he has been having care at the nursing home. During his time when unable to visit, the staff have been extremely helpful, dealing with enquiries etc by telephone only. Each person I have spoken to has always made time to help, whatever the issue.

The home has been excellent especially during these testing times. The staff can't be faulted for care and commitment to its residents.

I have been struck by the loving quality of the care given. Each resident is treated with dignity and respect for the individual. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this care home.

My mum was admitted to Greenhill from the hospital after a severe stroke for a 6-week review. We couldn’t choose or view the home due to Covid which was very concerning. And we couldn’t see her. From the moment she arrived the care was excellent. Every effort was made to reassure us that she was in good hands. Video calls were allowed which was such a comfort. We could see her looking well cared for and with her things around her. Staff were always upbeat and positive but realistic when there was cause for concern. Communication was regular and detailed. They treated mum as an individual with care and respect. When it came to the end of life and we were allowed in there was compassion and understanding. It has left me with a feeling of peace and comfort to look back on.

Attentive, kind hard-working staff. Know my mother as an individual. In fact, all staff throughout Greenhill know and consider my mother very well.

Great relief to find Greenhill Nursing Home in April after searching for a nursing home for mum. Wanted a cross between hospital and a home. Which it is. Thanks to wonderful caring consistent staff, purpose built building, very well managed. Recommended without reservation.

I was told about this home from a friend whose mum is here and I looked at quite a few but my uncle is very happy here and I too am very pleased. I like the way you can come in at any time of the day. The staff are great.
