Overall, I am very happy with the care my dad receives and would highly recommend this care home.

My Father Patrick has been in for just over 9th months. I have been extremely impressed with Elmwood especially the knowledge and care received from the Manager and Staff on level 2. They are acutely aware of Dad's needs and will inform me of any issues of concern. Thank you!

Elmwood Care Home is a safe and caring home for my mother. Since having a new Manager she has changed the Care home for the better. The staff are amazing and always there to help if you have a problem. It is a friendly homely care home and each and every one at the home should be applauded and a pat on the back for all that they do.

Mum has been at Elmwood since December 2024 she has been cared for with love and compassion all the Elmwood family are so friendly and caring to residents and family. There is always something going on at elmwood for residence and lots of things for family to join in with from exercises, singing ,painting to pat dogs, exotic pets, games and the sound of laughter such a warm and friendly atmosphere.

My wife has been a residnet for over a decade + is sectioned under Mental Health Act + safely contained in a protected area. Recently she had swallowing difficulties + needs puree foods only together with extended meal times. I visit her almost daily + can see that her very considerable needs are sympathically + professionally met. Her menu is still extensive + attractively presented. My wife is unaware of her circumstances + unable to communicate her many needs or recognise ANYBODY, yet the staff have always efficiently with the sudden emergencies that can occur. Management personnel + pastoral care also excellent although she is now unable to join social events. Room is well serviced + cleaned daily. Value for money is demonstrated.

Personally, I have nothing but absolute praise for the staff who are unfailingly attentive and caring, patient and empathetic and always kind. The current manager is also very good and always makes herself available to residents and family.

Elmwood provides excellent care for my brother who has been a resident for over 6 years. They look after both his physical and mental wellbeing. They have his best interests at heart and are very supportive of our efforts to enable him to get the best out of life. The staff are caring and kind and feel like friends rather than carers.

Staff are hard working, courteous and always patient with some grumpy residents. The home has morning and afternoon events to entertain. Food is wholesome. There are good help yourself tea and coffee facilities for visitors. During this very hot summer staff have made every effort to keep the home as cool as possible with plenty of fans. Unfortunately the building does not easily lend itself to provision of more air conditioning though consideration may need to be given to this if hot summers continue. The manager takes time out to meet residents and their families and seeks feedback. I am very happy with the care they provide.

My experience at Elmwood for the caring of my mother as been totally first class. The staff are simply the best - the new manager at Elmwood is outstanding. Always has time for you and is building Elmwood into a very special place, with some first-class management. Thank you all so very much for all you do.

Willett Hse has become home to my mother. I could not wish for a better place for her. The staff are so friendly, A very clean and spacious Nursing Home, the food is brilliant & caters for all. I would recommend this Nursing Home to Anyone, You won't be dissapointed.

As her dementia deepened she became less active but staff still encouraged and helped her to join in with others whenever she could. Staff were good at keeping me informed of any issues which they thought I should be aware of. Managers were visible, approachable and communicative. I am very pleased that we chose Greenhill. After living in her own home for so many years I had been concerned that she may find the transition difficult but happily this was not the case and Greenhill was truly home for the last chapter of her long life.

Mum has been a resident here since March 2026, she has been so well looked after by everyone since she arrived. Mum has dementia/alzeimers and has some behavioral issues now. The staff are all first rate and has received outstanding help and care as she moved through this difficult time. She is settled here, she recognises everyone and has put nearly a stone on since arriving!! The home is spotless everyone knows your name, everyone is caring and so very kind to Mum. Mum is spotless too!! Thank you Willett House, a wonderful new home for Mum.

Last week marked three years since my mother moved into Willett House. From our first visit, the warmth, clean surroundings and professionalism of the manager and staff reassured us. It felt like home then, and even more so now. As a family, we are grateful to know Mum is safe, respected and well cared for. Her food is freshly prepared, and her hydration and weight are carefully monitored, with prompt action taken whenever needed. Any concerns I have raised have always been met with kindness and a willingness to help. Mum's Christian faith has always been central to her life, and the Christian chaplain is a wonderful part of the compassionate and holistic care she receives. This week she is visiting a museum in London with Willett House, where her grandchildren will meet her-a full-circle moment, as she once took them there on school holiday outings. Indeed, we never know what the future holds, but thank you to the management and staff for holding our hands every step of the way.

From the bottom of my heart , I cannot thank them enough for everything they do!!! I would recommend Willett House to anybody, the care is impeccable and when going through a trauma like we all are, I know I've made the best choice in my life!

This care home proved to be a safe haven after a traumatic emergency admission to hospital with pneumonia. Six weeks bed bound left me doubly incontinent, very weak and no longer able to walk. A convalescent rehabilitation spell at The Elms was a godsend and the truly caring supportive staff have quelled my anxiety and enabled me to face returning to my own home in a fresh positive frame of mind, 'healed' body and spirit. Contact with full time residents has also been revelation on how we humans were meant to all help one another.
