Welcome to Ladyville Lodge, a warm and welcoming place that residents and staff call home. Ladyville Lodge is a family-owned purpose-built home that provides round-the-clock residential, dementia and respite care situated in North Ockenden.
 
Headed up by a very experienced management team with dedicated and experienced staff. The team delivers the highest level of compassionate, personalised care and are committed to providing residents with dignity, independence and choice.
 
The home has been carefully considered to ensure it offers exceptional accommodation, which is affordable and of an outstanding standard. Every detail of the home has been carefully considered, creating a pleasing and calming environment.
 
All bedroom suites are comfortable and spacious with some having en-suite facilities. The rooms come furnished however residents are able to request an unfurnished room allowing them to bring in those special objects and personal touches to make their room truly feel like home.  
 
At Ladyville Lodge, activities are important to people's health and wellbeing, therefore they have a varied programme of activities, performers and daily activities. There is also an in-house hairdresser. The gardens provide a relaxing and comfortable area for residents to enjoy.
 
Residents range from those who are relatively independent to those who require nursing, residential, dementia or end of life care. Ladyville Lodge provides discreet support in a place which is not institutional and promotes independence as much as possible. Dignity, encouraging, independence, involving family and friends, are part of Ladyville’s ethos.

Care Package
This includes planning and delivery, person-centered care plan, all meals, snacks and drinks, access to the full range of in-home activities, utilities such as water, heating and electric, all accommodation costs, housekeeping and laundry service (excluding dry-cleaning), 24 hours staffing to meet their needs.


Respite Care
Due to the costs, we incur in preparing a room and the plan of Care for arrival, the minimum term of respite care is two whole weeks. This means that if your stay is less than two weeks, you will be responsible for our charges up until the end of the week you leave the care home.

I cannot recommend this nursing home enough. With their friendly nature from the very 1st day my wife arrived.

Manager was so understanding and took so much pressure off of me too concentrate on my wife. All the staff from the sisters, nurses, cleaners, kitchen staff and even maintenance staff were
so friendly, happy attitude it made it a little easier at this difficult time which in turn made it feel more like home.


Down to earth caring people, not only for my wife, but for me also.


To trust another person to care for a love one is a very difficult thing to do. These people took that worry away but still not easy. From small things like favorite meals to hourly care, nothing was an issue or problem.


If I thought too me, there was a problem, I'd ask and I got told exactly how they were caring hourly, daily, etc and any future care planned ahead etc.


The single room my wife had looked out into the garden/patio area which is lovely. Unfortunately my wife could not get about to see the rest of the garden/out doors, but this open space looks across fields so a little peace of country side and not surrounded by other buildings.


This is a POSITIVE not a negative, even till the end the staff were with me and my family and still caring for my wife and me.

I’m Maxine, Registered Manager at Ladyville Lodge in Upminster. My family are incredibly important to me. This aligns with my work here at Each Other Care, as we are a family-owned organisation. I’m a former schoolteacher and made the move into the care sector after realising this is where my passion lies. My favourite thing about my role is being able to make a difference in people’s lives and seeing them thrive with us here at Ladyville Lodge.
