Every time I come to visit I was warmly welcomed by all the staff. There is a good range of activities available daily.
You can see that all residents are well looked after and loved. They are very accommodating when a group of family members come to visit.
The home is very presentable and clean.

Overall Experience 2.0 out of 5
Since my dad Joe came into care at White Ash Brook, he has deteriorated and had many falls. My sister and I have ensured all his clothes and shoes have labels in, but he is continually in other people's clothes and shoes. Most of the time, his drawers are empty. In his bathroom, on many occasions, there
have been no hand towels/paper towels or toilet paper. This is unacceptable. He has had a severe rash on his body, which was regarded as heat rash. To me, it was clearly scabies, confirmed in the hospital.

We cannot thank the staff enough for their kindness & caring support, not only to our father, but also to us as a family. I can not sing their praises highly enough.

The worst I could have imagined.
We asked that mum was watched to make sure she took her medication. Found pills on the floor, under bed in the sheets. Despite asking 3 x nothing changed. While mum was in respite care we asked them to ring for a doctor for mum this wasn't done. We asked for mums drinks
to be monitored has she can become easily dehydrated and then confused. Every day I visited drinks bottle almost empty every time. Empty catheter bag was on the sink for 3 weeks . Mum has only one leg,no core balance she was put in her wheel chair without seat belt on. She slipped out some of the carers were pleasant. The food wasn't great. Not the best quality mum missed quite a few meals because she didn't want to eat it. We had to bring in food for her. I wouldn't recommend this care home. There was not enougth staff. First night mum slept in her clothes they didn't come to change her. Her pads were only changed once per day. Inadequate care given in my opinion

We used Preston Glades care home for respite it was a 2 week stay and the first time here. He was so better looked after here than the previous one we had used on and off for the previous year. We needed to know he was having regular showers, medication was taken properly and he was getting some fresh
air, which all seem to have been neglected at previous care home. But his care here was outstanding! Very friendly attentive staff, throughout. Very thorough in every aspect of his care. Management very thorough, fed well and was lucky enough to be there when a trip out had been arranged and also had a dance when a rock and roll group was on. Would definitely recommend this care home and thank you so much to all the staff who took care of him and he was so settled there, he will definitely be returning.

Mum's stay, since 2023, has been a testing one due to her mental health. However, since the take over, it seems that her needs, physical, mental and general attention, has improved. The food has especially been improved to a lighter standard. The surroundings and facilities along with a cinema style
room area great idea. The staff are special and have a great rapport with mum which is vital for me. And after 2 years and 5 months, my mum's well-being is more than satisfactory.
