Mum's stay, since 2023, has been a testing one due to her mental health. However, since the take over, it seems that her needs, physical, mental and general attention, has improved. The food has especially been improved to a lighter standard. The surroundings and facilities along with a cinema style
room area great idea. The staff are special and have a great rapport with mum which is vital for me. And after 2 years and 5 months, my mum's well-being is more than satisfactory.

Excellent communication with all the staff. The staff are very pleasant and answer any questions you ask of them. My brother has made very good progress since he was admitted to Springfield from the hospital. His health and well-being have come on in leaps and bounds, and the food is of good standards
and portions. My brother was underweight but is now in the normal range.

I Can't thank the team at New Springfield Care Home enough, their excellent care of my father gave my mum peace of mind to be able to relax and enjoy her much needed break. The little extras like his glass of wine or 3 in the evening lol definitely helped, dad does love his wine. I know mum has no hesitation
using the home for future respite for dad. We have 2 further respite breaks booked with yourselves. Once again thank you so much you all
do an excellent job.

Thank you so much for your kind words. Were delighted to hear that your mum was able to enjoy her well-deserved break knowing your dad was being well cared for. Were so pleased to know you feel confident in choosing us again for future respite stays, and we look forward to welcoming your dad back soon. The home is a very caring home, but over the past few months the staffing levels seem lower than previously, sometimes it seems hard to find available staff to meet Mum's toiletry needs. My Mother has been a resident of the care homes Dementia Unit since 2019. The care home is looking brighter and refreshed since becoming New Springfield ( formerly Springfield ) but most importantly as her Alzheimer's has progressed the quality of her care has remained high. Recently after consulting
me the care home moved her to a room closer to the office, the staff felt that as her condition was deteriorating and she had lost mobility it would be easier to keep a close eye on her if she was nearer the office, this was a great comfort to myself and I felt happier knowing care was closer to hand should she need it as her Alzheimer's progresses.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind words and detailed feedback. We're glad that moving your mother's room closer to the office has brought you peace of mind, decisions like these are always made with the best interest of our residents at heart, and it means a lot to know you feel reassured.Thank you once again for your trust in us. I was dreading having to put my mum into a care home but as a family we all decided it was the right the time. My mum has dementia and is non verbal so this was worrying knowing she couldn't communicate with anyone. She went in November 24 and I can honestly say she is doing amazing. I go to see her
every week and every time she's always clean, dressed, happy and content. She's made her own little family in there. They take mum out on day trips and show me photographs what she's been up too which is really lovely to see as she didn't like leaving the house for years.
The staff are lovely always engaging with her. The care home itself it's very clean which I love. They have recently painted and decorated since mum has been there and it looks so fresh and more up to date now. They have done a great job. Her room is always spotless and hoovered. I would 100% recommend this care home.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experience. We know how difficult the decision can be to move a loved one into care, especially when communication is a challenge, so it truly means a lot to hear that your mum is happy, comfortable, and thriving here. Its wonderful to know she has made her own family and is enjoying the activities and outings. Were delighted that youve noticed the care we put into keeping both the home and residents rooms clean, fresh, and welcoming. Your kind words about our staff and the environment mean the world to our team they work hard every day to make sure residents feel valued and cared for.Thank you again for your heartfelt recommendation.

I never believed the time or need to choose a care home for my dad would ever come, sadly dementia began to win. I visited Shawcross and immediately felt I didn't have a dilemma, the ethos is palpable, the atmosphere is filled with empathy and genuine care. The staff know the people they are caring
for, it is evident from their interest and curiosity that they want to see the whole person, and they do. Shawcross staff have given my dad as much autonomy as possible in a secure environment, he is nourished physically, mentally and emotionally, he is thriving! They are providing an environment for dad to start living again, he is seen, heard and understood, he is included and appreciated. The greatest gift they have given me is to be able to be a daughter again, we are having fun and making memories and I thank them all.

My mum was a very strong and independent lady who developed dementia in her 80's. We were apprehensive about how she would adapt to life at Highfield but with the support and experience of the staff she settled well and far quicker than we expected. There is a lovely atmosphere within Highfield and
my mum was always surprised but delighted when anyone who passed by would acknowledge her and say hello. All the staff were approachable and friendly and family members were encouraged to visit and join the many activities taking place. I can't thank Highfield enough. They took many of our worries away by providing a safe, caring and supportive environment for our mum.

Creating a warm, respectful, and inclusive environment is at the heart of what we do, and it means a great deal to know that you and your family felt supported and reassured. Mum is soo happy! The staff came and brought her in the mini bus when we had to move mum and I have never known such a can do attitude it is astounding. Mum has a ground floor room that is so lovely with two big windows and has her own table and chairs for relatives popping in plus her lovely battery
operated reclining chair. Mum has only been there a few weeks but I am so happy with the staff who are totally committed in making mums time there the best. Mums been on trips and there is so much social activities that mum is becoming her old self again, I cannot say how brilliant the staff are and Courtney is truly amazing. I feel so happy that the staff will look after mum that it has taken a lot of pressure off of me not having to go daily as I had done before mum moved there. So dementia orientated and all of the residents on the ground floor are all lovely and happy in such a welcoming home. The food is also brilliant and I am so happy that the staff make the meals an occasion.
