I go to visit my father frequently and see events going on in the care home. The staff, when approached, are friendly, professional and helpful. While visiting the residents were offered drinks while events were going on. The activity manager was very friendly with the residents. Very lovely to witness this!

All the staff are attentive and kind, at all times.
There has been a huge and noticeable improvement in general maintenance in the last couple of months. I could not wish for a better home for him.
He is very happy here.

I come infrequently to visit. There is definitely order and care. The staff when approached were friendly, professional and helpful. Today, while visiting, the residents were offered Christmas carols, very nice!

My mother was in this care home for only one month as she required nursing care. The care staff, nursing staff and management were amazing, they were very courteous, respectful and nothing was too much trouble. The premises was constantly being cleaned and was spotless because of this. I would recommend this care home to anyone looking for a placement for a loved one.
Thank you, Cliff, for your comments about your recent experience at Lansdowne Care Home. Our residents’ wellbeing is our main priority and it is great to hear that you were so pleased with the quality of our care. All of our staff are committed to providing the best possible care experience for all of our residents and it is very rewarding to have their efforts recognised.
Happy with the service the staff constantly display an understanding of the needs of my father and are supportive.
Good service, my friend is very happy here.
In addition, staff are very caring towards her and I feel she is being treated as if she was a family member. Furthermore, staff have been very supportive towards myself. I have been made to feel welcome, which makes visits a lot easier and rewarding.
My mum went into Lansdowne Care Home at the beginning of September 2016. My mum had so much love and care here. All the staff loved looking after my mum. I also got attached to 3 of the staff members on Kenilworth. They cared for mum until the end.
My mother was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer back in November 2016. Since her arrival at Lansdowne Care Home she has received kind and compassionate care from both the medical and care staff. I am glad that my mother is here as she is receiving the best possible care available which is a great comfort to all our family.
Very satisfied with the staff. Everybody very helpful and friendly in particular the activities coordinator.
My sister has been resident here for four years. She is happy and contented most of the time. She is well cared for. Good activities co-ordinator.
My mother is looked after very well and all the staff are lovely to my mum.
It was my husband's father's funeral on the 27th of October 2016. The manager and one of the staff tried hard to make it to the funeral, but were late, but I understand as a carer myself it's hard, we are busy at times. My husband mentioned the care home in the service, and Lansdowne got us a room so we could have the reception at the home, they even gave us some sandwiches and hot drinks. We supplied the food and cold drinks. Not many homes would do this, if any.
We would just like to say how lovely the staff were in the home, and managers, and we sent them some flowers. I think when a home and staff have gone out of their way to help and care, they should be appreciated. Anyone can have qualifications and want money to do this kind of work, but what is needed is common sense and a good heart and we have to say, from what we saw and received, this home deserves praise.
My husband said he was totally happy with the care. People are very kind to him. Activity is very good.
My brother has been a resident in Lansdowne Care Home for over three and a half years. We have tried to visit every day and have never found anything but kindness and warmth from every member of staff - nursing, domestic, care and admin. My brother has suffered a great deal but he appreciates all the care he has received and has been able to relax knowing he is in capable and caring hands.
Complete trust in the physical and emotional care given to my father. All staff are in my opinion competent, caring and generous in their time and attitude. An excellent family atmosphere.
In my view this is a very good care home caring for residents from several London boroughs. Staff are very caring and welcome visitors in a friendly manner. Residents appear to be content with their surrounds and handling, and seem very satisfied with the meal menus. The home manager, administrator or carers and nurses are always available, and cleanliness is of a very high standard all round. A quarterly meeting is held with management, section heads and relatives.
To the Manager and all the staff on the first floor and all the staff in Lansdowne. Just to say thank you to everyone for looking after my mother so very well. She was very happy and comfortable despite her short stay. I think you all do a wonderful job and I thank you all from my heart, for making the last days of my mother's life very happy. Congratulations for creating a unique place.
Resident has not been here very long, but all the carers have been so kind and patient and have supported my mother as much as possible. They always tell me what she has been doing and will call me to talk to my mother when she asks.
I really appreciate all the the effort you have given to my family. I feel that there's love in the home and the staff takes care of my sister very much. Great support system. Thank you so much.
