Lansdowne Care Centre is located in a residential area near the centre of Cricklewood. There are shops near by and local amenities, public transport and road links are convenient.

This purpose built care home provides nursing and social care for older people who are physically frail and older people who have mental health needs such as Alzheimer's disease.

Accommodation at Lansdowne is provided in en-suite single occupancy rooms. The home provides TV lounges and a quiet sitting room to relax. Meals are served in the separate dining rooms provided and residents can select from the daily choices provided. Traditional home cooked food using local produce is served.

Lansdowne has regular visits from an optician, dentist, qualified chiropodist and hair stylist.

A varied programme of activities is provided.

Lansdowne Care Home has been very welcoming to my Uncle. The staff are never too busy to speak to me about him even if they are doing a change round or handing over.
His window is kept open as I requested. That is very important to my uncle as he grew up on an island and needs air. The staff and the
GP attending the home have also been very helpful with prescribing and discussing his supplements which are for his health.
The staff also consults with me regarding medical decisions and administration of medical interventions.

I have been visiting Lansdowne since March 2024. My overall experience has been good, lovely staff, good communication, very helpful, welcoming and fun. I have been involved by staff inviting me to resident's birthdays. The staff make the residents feel loved and not forgotten. My experience here visiting
3 times a week has been a pleasure, getting to know the staff as well as residents.

I am a resident in Landsdown Care Home since 2019. I like all services, carers and activities. The care home is very nice and everyone is helpful. The food can be better but it's good. All the nurses giving our medication on time. I am very happy and feel safe here.

The staff here are excellent in so many ways. My mum is well cared for and is happy and content. They make her smile and she returns the favour. Geoffrey

Geoffrey Odur

Job Title: Home Manager

Geoffrey began his career in the Health and Social Care sector in 2005. He has gained a plethora of knowledge through his roles as a Support Worker, Activities Officer, Residential Care Manager and now Home Manager. He has his level 4 in Leadership and Management as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Social Services and a Master’s degree in Business Administration. Geoffrey was awarded the Margaret Butterworth Award in 2011 for all of his work and achievements. He prides himself on building strong relationships with families and friends of residents, involving them in the care of their loved ones.


Outside of work, Geoffrey loves running marathons, listening to music and watching sports such as Formula 1 and athletics.
