A former convent, this home has been refurbished to provide spacious and homely accommodation including ensuite bedrooms, a dedicated activity room and large communal rooms. Landscaped gardens and a patio area can be enjoyed by all. The home is close to the shops and local amenities.

The home can also accommodate couples with suites, which are larger rooms available for single and double occupancy.

Staff take great care to focus on the person at Lynton Hall. It’s important for residents to feel at home, so they create a friendly environment with an individually appropriate balance of care and independence.

Enjoying food is an important part of life. The chefs create well-crafted menus made with the freshest ingredients and try to cater for all ethnicity groups. Soon after a resident arrives at Lynton Hall, staff discuss their personal preferences and dietary needs with them.

My auntie was a resident at Lynton Hall for four years before she passed. The staff are friendly and always ready to support with a smile on their face. The new management team are accommodating. My family were surprised to receive a sympathy card with a lovely message from the manager, staff and residents.

Attended the Hawaiian Luau Party organised by the newly appointed manager. I must say the party was fun and everybody enjoyed it. Lots of food and drinks, good entertainment and games were participated by guests, residents and staff. Never seen like that before, such an experience. Residents are well
looked after, staff are polite and always ready to help. Can't wait for more parties to attend!

My mother has been a resident at Lynton Hall Care Home for 10 months, and I am very pleased with how my mother has been cared for. The staff are attentive, friendly and always have time to chat with my mother. The food is prepared in the home’s own kitchen and is of a very high standard with choices
available to the residents. It gives me great peace of mind to know that my mother is being well looked after and that she is happy, contented and gaining weight.

Good, professional and friendly service. The staff are amazing and very hospitable and take very good care of my mother who has been staying there for the past couple of years. I would recommend Lynton Hall to anyone needing a care facility.

I didn't have a very good experience with the home telling me that my Dad had put on a lot of weight and needed bigger clothes. When I next visited him this was not the case. I had purchased new bigger clothes as asked but they were far too big for him. Communication not always great.

It was one of the saddest days of my life. As my mum gasped her last breath, I was at her bedside, holding her hand. I cried in agony and almost passed out, the staff at Lynton Hall comforted me, the deputy and the nurse ensured I was given medical and emotional support, and carers respected my feelings.
As I head home, I stopped by the manager's office, she invited me in, that was the first time we'd met in person as she was new, but it felt I knew her for so long because she's in contact with my brother. She listened as I share my grieving moment, and the stories about my mother, she bring solace and comfort. All the staff treated my mum, me and my brother like a family. I will truly miss my mum and I will also miss visiting the Lynton Hall family. Thank you for looking after mum!

Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Showed consideration and care to my aunt. Especially as it was her 101st birthday and they had baked a huge cake for her. I was able to bring some personal pictures which have strong memories for her and these were hung on the walls so she could see and talk about
their significance to her.

We were the first people to use the newly set up isolation pod for visitors and family. This was a great help as we had to deal with some urgent business for my father. We had a limited time frame to deal with this because of the restrictions with the COVID19 virus crisis. We were able to complete successfully
with the help of the deputy manager and the care staff. Thank you all.

My 91-year-old father has been at Lynton Hall for almost 2 years. He has mobility issues and dementia, and like many in his situation, doesn't feel he needs to be in a home. Despite his reluctance, he gets on very well at Lynton Hall. He has a lovely room and is well cared for. The staff are all very
friendly and really treat him as an individual. The Covid pandemic has been particularly hard on care home residents and their families but the management has been very accommodating and facilitated various visits when possible. Overall I am very satisfied with the quality of care at Lynton Hall.

Visiting in rooms has just resumed and a better experience for the resident and family member. Management and staff friendly and helpful always.

My aunt has been cared for with kindness and dignity since August 2020. The nurse, activities coordinator and her team of carers have facilitated a calm but attentive settling in process. Throughout the pandemic they have enabled family and friends to regularly communicate via FaceTime which has been
a blessing. We have had regular medical updates about my aunt’s health both mental and physical. She is always peaceful and sometimes quite chatty during our calls and I always have the feeling that she is being well cared for.

The care my mother has received at Lynton Hall has been outstanding and we are grateful to all the staff who has shown such compassion and support to her and to us.
Special mention must go to two nurses and to the activities organiser, who have been especially supportive.

I was greeted at the door with the COVID precautions. The staff were unfailingly polite and attended to my father's and my needs.
The visit went ahead and I was given privacy to discuss our business and my brother was able to participate via a WhatsApp video call. I was signed in and out correctly
and offered any other assistance.
