A purpose-built residential care home, Manor Court offers a range of tailored care options for short or long term needs. Care is provided to people living with dementia, Parkinson’s and Huntington's disease and also to the young physically disabled. Palliative care is also available.

The home consists of four separate houses each offering comfortable accommodation with a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Landscaped gardens complete with furnished patio areas, raised flower beds and two sensory gardens provide an ideal setting to relax or socialise. The home also offers a double room, ideal for couples.

Manor Court recognises the importance of healthy and nutritious food. The in-house chef has created a range of seasonal menus to ensure residents receive a balanced diet. A hot and cold option is always made available so that all tastes are catered for.

Residents are encouraged to take part in daily activities such as film nights, exercise sessions and coffee mornings to socialise and get to know staff and other residents.

I was satisfied with my father's hygiene. The carers did change his clothes and clean him. I felt the catreworkers needed to be reminded about my father's food (putting the spoonfuls of thickener and using teaspoon to feed him). There could have been better communication (body language when feeding
my father as he did not want to finish all the drink). The nurses and management did an excellent job, very understanding and clear communication.

My dad stayed for two years, and he was a resident with many complex challenges. But over those two years, the entire staff from every aspect of the care home have shown humility, care, dignity and patience. The staff are super-humans, in my opinion. Incredible care comes, and I can't recommend it enough
for when the time arrives.

My mother has been a resident of Manor Court for 5 years in all that time we have found the staff to be absolutely wonderful.
They treat Mum as one of their own relatives as one of their own relatives which is very comforting. The only concern is the frequent turnaround of staff leaving.

My sister has been a resident in Manor Court Care Home for more than five years and the love and care she has always received has been wonderful. We are so grateful to every member of staff who cares for us and looks after her as if she were a member of their own family.

On the 29th of June 2023, my mother sadly passed away having spent just over a year at Manor Court Care Home. Throughout this period I was very happy with the due care and attention mum received from all the staff and her needs were met with kindness and dignity. Mum could not chew and her food was
pureed. The food for other residents was of high quality. Her bedroom was always clean and tidy, although the room was a little dated. The caring staff always welcomed us and I was particularly pleased by the entertainment and social activities for all the residents. I have no regrets that my mum went to the care home. It gave me peace of mind in the knowledge that she was very well cared for and looked her best.

Excellent all-around care home. The only slight fault is that food often arrives cold.
Great staff, friendly, caring and treat you with lots of dignity. A big thank you to all of them including the manager and her assistant who are efficient, focused, patient as well as caring, kind and thoughtful.

My personal experience staying with this care home as a resident has been appreciated and I am highly obliged to indicate that all the staff which I have come across in various capacities have been very professional and excellent. Further, I would also like to say I hope they will keep up with their
efforts as they are doing now to look perspectively to best to their best ability and that can only be achieved by the excellent staff which is now looking after this Willow House.

We received great care at Manor Court for my mum. Always treated with dignity. The staff were very caring and looked after my mum until she passed away. I always found the home to be very clean and tidy. I cannot fault it.

My mother has been a resident in the Willow unit at Manor Court Care Home for four years and three months. At first, her care was not up to standard. The communication was not good from the carers, and the knives and forks used to be dirty. This all changed when a new manager was appointed. He made
sure that the right people were brought into the home. I am very grateful for this, as it has helped to build my mother's confidence again and can enjoy a meal without having to worry about finding dry food on her knives and forks.

Satisfied with the care being received by my relative. Very good staff both in knowledge, skills and attitude. The manager, residents and visitors had a meeting before our buffet and music. A very useful day. The manager gave us a lot of information and concerns we might have and lots of ideas of trips out.
My daughter has to be back for her 3pm medication and nap in her bed. She is very happy at the home
and with the staff. She has a severe stroke.

The nurses are all excellent also most carers, but one night carer and two day carers are often rude, aggressive, and get angry when I ask them to do something simple, like put the call bell where I can reach it.

My mother is a current resident of this Care Home and wants to provide feedback on our experience with the Care Givers and Nurses who work here to do a challenging job by any definition.


We are deeply grateful for the prompt attention, genuine desire to ensure her wellbeing, timely communications

to the family, and facilitating all required medical assistance and protocols when her health has taken a turn for the worse. All of these prompt actions have greatly assisted in my Mother's recovery and return back to the Care Home. Thank you for all you do to keep my Mother comfortable and happy!
