Overall Experience

My father has been a resident at Prince George Duke of Kent Court for many years. The staff - nursing, catering, office, premises etc have all been very good. The nursing staff are caring and patient and my father's last days (he died on the 1st April 2017) were made comfortable and he was nursed with great kindness. Our grateful thanks to them all.

Nina StephensJob Title:Home ManagerJoined: 1994

Nina joined RMBI Care Co. in 1994 as a student nurse at our care home Prince Michael of Kent Court in Watford in Hertfordshire. She immediately felt a strong connection with residents and a passion for supporting people living with dementia. After completing her QCF studies (NVQ Levels), Nina was promoted to Shift Leader and was able to develop her leadership skills.

Nina took over as Home Manager at Prince George Duke of Kent Court in Chislehurst in 2022 and is committed to using her experience and skills to develop staff and support residents to have the highest quality of life.

Nina said: "We actively promote person-centred care at Prince George Duke of Kent Court as we are merely guests in our residents' Homes, with the sole purpose of ensuring they receive the highest standards of care."

"Our residents play a big part in the decision-making for all the areas of our Home, whether that is recruitment, menu choices on the food committee and general decoration of the Home. We value everybody’s opinion," added Nina.
